Meh. If he commits, I can't wait to see what 2-star recruit he sits behind these next 4 years. Outside of Bulaga, our 4-5 star o-linemen have mostly been busts. Blake Larsen, Dan Doering, Chris Felder, etc- they all were busts.

Henderson has been talking to the Texas coaches lately, not sure if he is planning on making a visit or not. Right now the Texas recruiting peeps are saying its a very very long shot he even makes a visit.

Mace, back in Summer of 2002 I had a job out in Montana and I worked with a guy from Atlantic who guaranteed me Larsen was going to be a bust. I just kinda figured dude had a grudge against the family or something but he said even the coaches at Atlantic were wondering what schools like Oklahoma saw in this kid. If I recall, he chose Iowa over OU, Miami and maybe Notre Dame. I guess dude was right.

Offensive line is the one spot where stars really don't matter. Outside of the guys that can block out the sun and still move their feet (meaning the obvious freaks of nature) most are really just crap shoots. Texas has had several highly ranked linemen come here and fizzle out. While we have seen some of the best we ever had come from 2-star and 3-star prospects. Good example is Adam Ulatowski who was a 3-star rivals guy and now will likely be a 2nd or 3rd round NFL draft pick. Then we have a 5-star guy named Trey Allen who has had real problems just cracking the two-deep lineup.
