Jay Barker was no Ken Stabler or Bart Starr or Joe Namath but he was on a national title winning team...dude just won games.

That Bama defense was amazing they didn't have a back as good as Ingram. Palmer was a great all-purpose weapon in the return game and on offense. How did Barker with the O'Brien with those numbers?

They had Derrick Lassic running the ball. He was nails against Miami.
Hell, I don't even recall Barker winning that award.
