Great 24 hours for an Orange fan !

Being from Syracuse, I am a fan of their teams. In the past 24 hours SU beat UNC in hoops and Rutgers in football. Two wins over "ranked" teams by an unranked Syracuse Orange. The basketball team deserves ranking now--the football team is turning the corner to a return to better days.

I can't believe how much improved Wesley Johnson looks this early in the season. He's even coming through with big shots, which was one of his biggest problems at Iowa State.

Orange football will be back. They are getting recruits from my neck of the woods (Tampa and Venice recently). The day will come soon when I will travel to see SU in a good bowl game. The Orange hoops team has yet to begin the brutal Big East schedule. That will be the real test of their strength.
