While I had Pittspuke as one of my best bets.
I'm still in shock and disbelief. I don't even know how to act. This wasn't the 'duhs or the deadskins. Even though I watched the entire game.... how in the fuck did they pull that off?
Maybe some of that old time Arrowhead magic is back.
Nice win, boys.

Wow
Just didn't see that coming at all - huge upset.
Anyone see DJ out there on the Sack where he laps Parker grabs Ben by the pads and rides 'em both till help arrived? Where the hell has that been?
Chiefs still can't move the ball "conventionaly" - but what the hell.
Props on a win I would have bet heavily against happening

Props to the Chiefs - tough-scrabble win. They wanted it more.

Paul,
This isn't boxing. The Steelers are no more the "World Champions" than are the Chiefs. That shit happened last year.
That being said, you have to give the Chiefs their props for exploiting the Steelers special teams and secondary when they needed to and for playing some stout defense. I guess the Stillers are officially hung over again.

Rack the Chiefs. I laughed and loved it when I saw this score.

The Stillers are the World Champs until they either repeat or somebody else wins the Super Bowl. Until then they are going to get EVERYBODY'S best shot, as evidenced by yesterday's game.

The
Chiefs gave up over 500 yards to the Stillers yesterday, so "stout" isn't exactly what I would call their D....but they DID stand their ground when they had to. That 3rd down play towards the end of regulation where Mendenhall got tackled for negative yardage was HUGE- it took Jeff Reed out of his FG range and forced Tomlin to punt the ball to send the thing into overtime.

At best they're the 5th best team in football right now. The Saints, Colts, Pats and Bungles are all better.

They were stout when they had to be. There is at long last some hope in Kansas City. And that is a good thing. The NFL forum is much better when you myopic fucksticks load up the bandwagon.
BTW: I went out for this game and must have missed the play that Batch got hurt on. Does anybody know how the hell he broke his wrist?

Norv Turner sent Chris to KC. He's helping the Chargers all he can. It's all in his plans. He's a genius.

Uhhhh........ I think Paul has a point Bri - The Steelers are the defending World Champs
As for your current Rankings - Well you're forgetting the Vikings at 9-1, and the Cards, Cowboys and Chargers all are 7-3.
In Reality The Steelers are not very good defensively without Polamalu and they just lost their best run blocker Kemoeatu for a few weeks.
Not that they were really running the ball all that well before

I think they were running well with Mendenhall...but they continue to screw around with Parker and Moore. I think Mendenhall needs 30 carries a game.

Just wait until Raiderfan gets their groove on, we'll blow this motherfucker up.

Yup, there IS hope here....and those of us that are on board with the Pioli-Haley plan are patient enough to see it through, even if it takes a year or two. It took a helluva lot LONGER for Carl Peterson and Herm Edwards to fuck it all up, that's for sure. :brad:

I DVRed the game, and went back to look for that same thing, but I can't figure it out either....Batch must've gotten hurt on that last throw to Holmes, but they never showed him holding his wrist in pain. Weird.

You are aware who handed the Vikes that one loss?
The Cards, Cowboys and Chargers are frauds. Al of them.

Mendenhall has been averaging 5.1 yards a carry. I'll take that to the bank. PSU is right. Tomlin needs to stop messing around with Parker with the game on the line.
Kemo's a mauler. But I wouldn't bet against whomever they get to fill in. Just shows you how far that O-line has come in 12 months that any individual player is being singled out as a key contributor.

We'll add "math" to the things you suck at.
Last I checked, 6-1 is a better record than 0-1.
