Did they say you need a proctcolectomy? If so then you have a serious condition. If not then hopefully you were told to avoid high-fiber foods, caffeine, spicy foods, and milk products.

58 lbs would get me back to a little under HS weight.
I can think of better ways to do it, however.
Get well soon, derron, so you can get your ass back to paying "your fair share" in taxes.

Thanks all for the well wishes.
Aasacol may have added to the condition according to the quack. He got me off that and on Lialda now, along with predistone, which itself can kick your ass.
I did not have 58 lbs to give, unlike the majority on here. I was 224, which was fine for me at 6'1". Pretty fucking skinny now. Gaining back at about 1.5 lbs per week, depending. Plus is all comes out your ass in a hurry.
Something like this really makes you appreciate your health. There is nothing more important than that. This came on, got me, no input, nothing I could do but react to it, and the reaction was to basically lay there and wish I was fucking dead for about 2 months. You have no choices in the matter, and what ever is dealt you is what you have. Appreciate your health, it can go away overnight.
I may have to change careers if I finally heal up. Depends on how it goes, but my research indicates that the construction / excavation business may not be for me any more.
Happy Holidays to all, and thanks again for the well wish's as well, and even the requisite insults.

A daughter who has Crohns (similar to a degree)...you wish you could step up and take it for her but if you are completely honest with yourself you really wonder if you could.I don't know that any one with any experience with this would take a chance with karma by making jokes about it. Hopefully you'll regain a good quality of life...good luck.

if tasteless smack caused bad karma, I'm pretty sure most of us would be dead by now.
