That didnt seem like a very bright comment from Sen. Murray. Granted, loseing Boeing to other parts of the country is a sore topic in Seattle Im sure and she was just trying to stand up for the Seattle Boeing work force...which is mostly Union workers I think.

Another fuck up she had recently was when,...and I'm trying to remember exacly how it went down... nuclear company Areva wanted to do something out at the Hanford Nuclear reservation that would have brought many jobs to my area. Ultimatly Areva decided to go to Idaho instead and Senator Murray is widely credited with that fuckup also. But her liberal base and the largest voter blocks around the Seattle area hate Hanford and nukes in general so why would she care. The east side of the state didnt, and wouldnt, vote for her anyway.

Enter Clint Didier., 3 time superbowl champ with the Redskins and grew up in rural eastern Washington in a farm family. After retireing from football in the early 90s he came back to farm and raise his kids. Hes been vocal about his conservative beliefs and works every year to put on a local charity golf tournament for the American Cancer Society. Hes planning to announce his candidacy next month to run against Senator Murray in the next election. He wont win as the Liberal west side of the state wont go for his conservative stance and his lack of political polish will make things awkward at times. But he should bring up some valid points and bring some good entertainment value to the race.

No, hes a good dude. Everybody around here likes him and hes a hell of a nice guy. But the Seattle media will slaughter him for his inexperience on the political scene.

Somebody go down to the local daycare and get Diego to answer these questions. Being from Seattle theres a 2/3's chance he voted for Sen. Murray and should know all about the culture at Boeing( Microsoft too).

Im pretty sure that the Union just settled a strike they had with Boeing. My sister, whom I saw at Thanksgiving and lives in Seattle, recently went on a tour of Boeing and said she wondered how they got any work done when all she saw was a bunch of people standing around. She wasnt impressed with the workforce.

if the trend over the last 20 or so years continues, alabama will have more good manufacturing yobs than the entire left coast. I don't know if alabama builds as many cars as michigan, but, they probably will be 10 years from now. I have an alabama built ride ('09 sonata) in the drive.

patty murray makes herself look almost as dumb as million degree algore when she opens her dicksucker. keep it up, patty.

Watching the sweatshop coolies fight over the table scraps of corporations looking to low-ball contracts to the mouthbreathing, blue-collar conservi-tards is always solid-fucking-gold.
Child labour will be back in 10 years. Guaranteed.

Hello Third World.

No, B-Juice, what you really mean is you're gooily warmed inside watching the corporations bait 'n switch the (very) nervous workers into the anti-union philosophy of right-wing radio hackdom. Keep it straight, comrade

Boeing has two main unions: IAM (International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers) & SPEEA (The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace). The IAM was the one who was on strike last year (which helped the company).

The bright spot about Charleston getting a second, independant line is that management will no longer have the union to blame for fuckups in that second line. Don't be suprised if that line gets pulled in a couple of years back to Everett.

And I sure as hell didn't vote for that insurance executive Mike McGavick.
