I hate to say what I'm about to say because I'm afraid this will bring that idiot troll out of the woodwork, but.........

Jeff Tedford is pushing Ron Zook in terms of terrible coaches. I watched only a couple minutes of that game (I only watch the real bowl games), but I saw the last TD with almost 2 minutes to play. The TD made the game 37-27 and Tedford has to use his last timeout because it took him a long time to realize he needed to go for 2. How dumb is this guy? The fucked up thing is the announcers didn't even catch this. I didn't hear the announcers go "what is Tedford thinking?". In fact, one of the announcers even said that Riley's TD pass was just a "garbage-time TD". Hu? If they get the 2 point conversion it's a 1 score game with almost 2 minutes to play. Onside kicks are low percentage, but you never know what could happen.

How many times does Tedford's teams have to fall apart midway through the year before Cal gives him the axe? Has dude ever won a big game? Has he ever had a team that DIDN'T underachieve?

What a shitty coach and what a shitty program. Mountain West OWNS the Pac-10. Rack them for that.

He does coach up some quality NFL bound QB's though

Well, tonight's "bowl" game is a fake one. First, it's Nevada and SMU. Second, it's on Christmas Eve. Third, no one would go to it except that it's in Hawaii.

Most are fake. I only watch the games involving teams that would have been invited to bowl games a dozen years ago before the NCAA got gay and started letting everyone that didn't lose to Iowa State go to a bowl (I stole that line from Bill James, by the way. Rack it).

It's December 26 and we've had about 10 bowl games already. That's just stupid. TCU vs Nevada? What the fuck? Wyoming vs Idaho (I think that was a matchup)? Gotta be kidding me.
