I am curious as to who wants to to see FSU win or lose in Bowden's last game.

Never mind the spread, but would you all want to see him win his last game, or see State get hammered by a team that actually deserved to get a New Year's day bowl game, unlike a 6 - 6 piss poor team like FSU?

The tickets for that game were going for as much as $500 per. I wouldn't have paid the face price.

Personally, Bowden showed his ass during the last 2 seasons, by saying he was more important than the program itself.

And make no mistake....he was forced out by the T.K. Wetherell and the entire administration here.

A pity and a shame for him. Some people age and have their mental faculties last more than others, but it was clear that Bobby could not keep up with the game in today's time, unlike JoePa, who seems to still "get it". But at age 80, he was bitter and the game had passed him by. Calling time outs so he could change the play to run the ball right up the middle(see, FSU v Oklahama) showed his ineptitude.

Fisher is bringing in the recruits just fine, thank you, so,....so much for Bobby's recruiting prowess, which sucked balls the past 5 years.

Thank you Bowden for taking the program to the highest level, and 'un-thank' you for nearly destroying what you created in less than a tenth of the time.

I love older persons, as I am getting closer and closer to becoming one myself, but I at least know my limitations.

Arrogance aka hubris, should not have been his legacy, but now it is. What a shame.

That whole family is a bunch of scumbags. Bobby is no saint. He's convinced most people he is, but that fucker is as crooked as ANY coach and I have been saying this for years. His kids are pieces of shit too. Karma finally caught up with Bobby and his career is ending the way it DESERVES to end because of that.

Funny - I've heard just the opposite. I've got a couple of good friends in Tallahassee that have been good friends with Bobby and his wife ever since they've been there. I've never heard a single thing bad about Bobby through them. In fact - all I've ever heard from them is that Bobby is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. I guess you must know the Bowdens better than my friends do, though.

I lived next door to his daughter from 2001-2005.

I don't think FSU deserves to be in this bowl. Yeah FSU got skipped for Clemson last year but at-least Clemson had a fairly similar record, a one-win difference. This year Miami was 9-3, that is a lot better than 6-6. I don't like the canes but they should be in the better bowl.

That said, I don't really want to see a coaching legend go out on consecutive losses.

That's not true. Bobby cares that they become good football players and can read at the 2nd grade level. Granted they're college age, but that's besides the point.
