and in the immortal words of broadway joe, 'i couldn't care less' about the skins 'strug-gel-ling'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc65NC44dSk

last weeks performance is a bad as i've ever seen. horrible. horrendous. embarrassing.

as far as i'm concerned, the team has quit on zorn, and the usually quiet and reserved campbell, punch drink from being beaten like a drum all year, even said so. at any rate, if monday nights performance was indicative of anything other than a team that has quit, things are worse that anyone thought. good luck, bruce allen.

the fact that the boys just re-signed suisham- cut for missing a game sealing 20 something yarder against the saints- to replace folk- cut for......the exact same thing- isnt even a source of drama. it wont be that close. dallas actually is playing like they care. romo isnt throwing INT's. combine that with a lame duck coach in DC who doesnt appear capable of calling plays, an arrogant DC who calls prevent with 5 minutes to play and his team up by less than a score- who loves to play his players everywhere but their natural positions (orakpo, taylor, landry), and an O line that is made up of 2 players plucked off the street (jones and williams), 1 undrafted FA tackle (heyer), and all of 1 player that may or may not be starting on any other team in the league (dockery), and you have the makings of massacre.

that said,
skins- 20
dallas- 10

merry christmas, everybody!

I like the 'skins chances. Not to win, but to cover the +7 spread.

Dallas 17
Washington 14

I'm actually with WW on this one. Fucking up the spread and choking at the end has been their specialty of late.

Plus it's Dallas.

14-0, Dallas.

So much for them not being a December team

They'll wrap up the division at home next week against the Eagles and I think they can still get that first round bye of the Vikings lose to the Bears and then the Giants. Not sure who has the tie breaker there but that would be nice to get that bye, beat whoever in the div. game and then go down and kick the shit out of the fraud Saints in their own stadium for the second time this year. Geauauuuuuuuu Saints! Who dat gonna beat dem Saints? :meds:
How bout the Bucs!

This is where Dallas plays its best football....end of the year, defense becoming lights out, Romo once again back there in that pocket making throws, 70 yarders to Witten, all those running backs wearing out the defense. Yet everyone thinks the Chargers are the team to beat. I hope to hell they get revenge on those slappies in the Super Bowl this year and punch them in the balls good.

The same Eagles team whose defense let the Broncos score like 17 straight instead of closing them out today? And against a Dallas team whose defense has come together just as I said it would....to the point where they are now holding teams to goose eggs. And the week before they kicked the Saints asses. The Eagles...SUCK.

Outside of a couple flashy little fluky receivers, they have nothing on offense. Decent line, but no running game as usual. And they'll need to run in the Palace to even have a prayer to score points let alone win. Since the start of the year I have been befuddled at the attention Philadelphia has gotten in being the Super Bowl rep for the NFC. It blows my mind. And they are STILL getting that recognition. Dipshit Harrison is swearing they will be in the Super Bowl. Let's see what he says next Sunday night after the Cowboys destroy the Eagles.

dallas looks good. dont take too much out of shutting out the skins. it would appear zorn has decided to take over playcalling duties stripped by the recently departed vinny cerrato. coincidentally, the skins O looks as awful as it did the first half of the season the last 2 weeks.

stiil, dallas is playing good football. the game wasnt even as close as the score indicated.

hopefully, allen cleans house, drafts some O linemen, and brings in a coach who can call a game.

props to the boys. see you next year with redskins version 6.0 - or something like that- since 99.
