What did you get, media-wise? Here's my haul...
Books:
Stephen King - Under the Dome (Got it yesterday morning and I'm already 300+ pages in. I realize SK isn't the "deepest" author out there, but the guy knows how to write a suspenseful page-turner. So far, the overall story seems to be on a par with his better work, although his attempts at capturing modern teenage vernacular are pretty cringe-inducing.)
Dennis Lehane - The Given Day (This one is queued up next. Haven't read his early stuff, but I loved Mystic River and Shutter Island, so I expect this to be pretty impressive as well)
DVDs:
Inglourious Basterds (Already saw it in the theaters, and thought it was great. Probably his best film since Pulp Fiction. Happy to own it on Blu-Ray.)
Flight of the Conchords: Season 2 (For some reason, my girlfriend seems to think I'm a big fan of these guys. She got me Season 1 last Xmas, and it had some clever moments, but overall, I think they're a little overrated. Not exactly champing at the bit to watch this, but it's something we can watch together, I guess, and it's probably more enjoyable than "WWE Raw" is for her or "The Real Housewives of Fill-in-the-blank" is for me.
Video games:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Got this on Tuesday and still haven't found time to play it yet. Looking forward to getting into some online deathmatches, although I've never owned a COD game before and I'm relatively inexperienced at first-person shooters in general. I imagine the learning curve should be pretty steep, but it'll be worth it. Nothing is more cathartic after a rough day than jumping online and killing some motherfuckers.)

Re: Your Xmas haul...
i thought Flight of the Conchcords season II was pretty average. just the same formula minus the novelty.
