That was the most complete performance from this program probably since '99. The D was stellar, Bo has really brought it in our three bowls under him. After this we should take the lead for scoring-defense. After being on life-support half the season we actually had a a legit freaking offense, probably would've scored more in the 4th if Bo and Mike weren't boys. Kudos to the O-staff on getting their act together during the time off. I look forward to seeing if we can manage some consistent production next season with Lee's throwing elbow repaired(turns out it's been bad since the noncon), Helu's shoulder repaired, and what should be a more physical, deep line. Why it took so freaking long to put Burkhead in the wildcat I have no idea, folks were calling for it a couple months ago.

This is definitely a nice way to head into the offseason. I'm amped for 2010.

While the domination made for a channel turner I will have to RACK the Corn. Not sure the opponent was worth a shit, but they did what you're supposed to do with an inferior foe. The D was hardly on the field either, making it difficult for me to scout the Lion's first round selection.

But seriously....gotta be amazed at how Pelini has these kids playing. Give us the V-tech game we had, the ISU debacle, and a little better luck on kickoff against Texas and Nebraska is a top 5 program this year. Very exciting times again in Huskerland.

Gotta agree, I'd be excited too if I were a Husker fan. Given the mess that Callahan left behind, Pelini has done a commendable job of retooling the defense. The blackshirts are definitely back.

Appeared that way to me too but mostly after they realized they were getting physically abused.That'll do it most every time. That defense breaks people's wills. 'Bout 2 series in they seemed to lose interest.
Don't know how many of you heard it but Erin (whatan..ass) Andrews made a sideline comment on how ARZ's. offense was starry eyed on the sideline while still in the first half.

Really..? they were tied for second in the PAC 10, beat SC, Beaver St. and took the Duck Blind to OT...?
Didn't expect that from a Stoops coached team. I wonder if Mark Stoops is still the new up and coming defensive genuis. That was a less than average offense that schooled his boys.

We all knew Nebraska had a good defense, but after seeing them score 33 points last night, I guess there is still no respect for the defense that wears the burnt orange.

Ummm..last night was the exception...miles away from the rule, when considering NU's offense. (You could be tonuge in cheekin' it. :? )

Be advised people here knew NU had practiced using Burkhead in "Wildcat" before the Texas game and didn't use it once.
Kid had a career night last night from that very set.

Not a great offense, but I do believe they were averaging like 25 points a game

Well I like to live in the "real" world . I disregard NU's scoring offense playing Fla. Atl., Ark St., and Fla. Int. NU averaged 47.3 pts. per game against the Sunbelt (those 3) and a measley 17.7 against everyone else, and that included the likes of Iowa St., Kansas St. Baylor and Colorado.
So Texas's defense didn't do anything against NU everyone else did, including a bevy of shit defenses.

The Holiday was Arizona's biggest bowl since last time we played them in '98. Taking second in the PAC and getting this bowl was a very big deal for them. They were amped to be there. But Bo had a lot of time to prep for their O and and choked the life out of it. I would guess their D was quite cocky coming into the game, figuring they'd just shut-down what had been an unimpressive O. Maybe Mark Stoops was looking ahead a bit when he should've been getting ready for a team that had time to heal, add things, and work on shortcoming.
