Auburn has been up 14-0 in the first quarter for three straight games but lost the first two.

Offense sputtered the second possession.

AU also has a horrid record with AM kickoffs.

Yeah the SEC is proving itself juggernauts against such stellar opponents as Northwestern and ECU... how can any conference or other teams compete with such a bowl schedule...

Jsc is the oddest of anomolies: a truly nice guy whose teams you root against anyway, just because of him.

Auburn is playing a team that hasn't won a bowl game since 1949. Of course Northwestern beat Cal then, just like Iowa beat Cal for its last Rose Bowl win, a decade later.

Point being, WGARA if Auburn beats a team that is 0-6 in bowl games over the past sixty years.

It doesn't fucking matter.

Craziest ending to a game I've ever seen, just insane. Auburn had the game won about 5 times today, only to kick their own ass with stupid penalties. They deserved to lose for being so fucking stupid.

Carson, seriously, STFU. Nobody's 'melting', merely by pointing out the obvious: A 3-5 team doesn't deserve to be in a bowl at all, much less a New Years Day bowl.

The fact that Auburn lucked out and were paired with Northwestern is irrelevant.

If you go 3-5 in conference, not only should you not go to a bowl game, but you shouldn't sniff a New years day Bowl.

That is the subject were talking about, not about the team i root for. Northwestern is not good, they would get smoked by Navy. Navy is a above average team, who works hard, and is extremely well coached. If you go in there thinking your going to smoke Navy, they will put 30+ on you and about 450+ on the ground.

Watch a little college football, you might learn some things.

And for the record, i stated when Saban was hired, he would have a title by 3rd year. And Bama and TCU are the 2 best teams in the nation.

More penalties were called on Auburn (I know you'll find this hard to understand) because they committed more. Many of the stupid variety. Personal fouls, unsportsmanlike conduct. Excessive celebration in the endzone is ILLEGAL in CFB, tell me you knew. And even if you didn't know that, the players and coaches on your dumbfuck team damn sure should.

Yes, AU won and I'm glad because that helps me in the office pool. But your dumbfuck team did everything humanly possible to piss that game away and that wasn't the refs fault.

Btw, Mizzou beat NW last year in their Bowl game. That game went to OT as well.
