Somebody pull The Ohio State University off me.
1. Go to the Shoe in 2002 and watch Maurice Clarett run over my 2002 Pac-10 champ Cougs while being besiged by an endless mob of tweeking OSU fans.
2. TOSU is kind enough to send my Portland Trail Blazers Greg Oden, and the Zers apparently neglected to kick the tires on that lemon.
3. Make a roadie to the Rose Bowl with a couple U of O buddies to watch, well, that.
"Uncle!"

Yeah, it was my third. And I'm 0-3!Screw_Michigan wrote:Jesus, you drove all the way down there? Holy Tebow. Rack your dedication. Still dying to see a Rose Bowl myself.
1995 Watched Oregon lose to Penn State
2003 Watched Wazzu lose to Oklahoma
2010 Watched Oregon lose to Ohio State
(Unfortunately didn't make to the 1998 Rose Bowl to watch Washington State come so close to derailing Michigan's NC, which was one of the best Rose Bowl's ever. I was a student at Wazzu at the time. Logistically it just didn't work that year, which was too bad.)

I was there for that glorious game... OU owned the Wazzu offensive line that afternoon.

Kinda disappointed that Dins has pulled an m2 and completely vanished, post ass-kicking.

I drove to that one. Great game in the best bowl game there is. Wazzou had 70% of the crowd easy. I swore Leaf was a gonna be a great qb, doh!Q, West Coast Style wrote: (Unfortunately didn't make to the 1998 Rose Bowl to watch Washington State come so close to derailing Michigan's NC, which was one of the best Rose Bowl's ever. Ah yes, the good ole days when Stoops and OU could show up at a big bowl game. Seems like yester year...SunCoastSooner wrote:Q, West Coast Style wrote:2003 Watched Wazzu lose to Oklahoma

oh here's Texas fan indirectly bragging about finishing 2nd in the South again for most the decade. I love when you guys do this. But you went to Vanderbilt? Do you just pull for whichever team is most convenient at the time for you?
You know one thing I've noticed? A lot of OU fans are really fucking insecure. Yeah - sure - there's Vito and his jizz-glossed lips stuck firmly in place around UT's cock, but god damn. Again - I guess that comes with being the Buffalo Bills of CF over the last 5 years.
Carry on.
The last coached who finished in 2nd place in the conference as consistently as Mack Brown does got canned in Norman and now a decade and a half half latter is spoken of on this board as though he were an absolute blight on the program... Too bad Gary Gibbs didn't coach for a school with the expectations of Texass.
Is that better for you Spray, coming from an alumnus of the University? Maybe we can get Carson in here so we can find out what an actual alumnus of Allbarn thinks of the subject rather than a resident of Georgia who roots for them. :D

Re: Somebody pull The Ohio State University off me.
i went to Vandy for 3 years (1 year at Colorado College, a USA Today top 25 Liberal Arts college because of some family health issues--a great institution and still donate to), i've been a Sooner my whole life. i'm always going on about Vanderbilt in the 9 years i've been posting here (and at the Rome board III). you got me Spray. I'm a knee-jerk, multi-team hypocrite. now that i'm outed, i may just have to suck so much SEC cock that i have jizz busting out of my ears just like you.
Vandy would have won the Mountain West, bitches.

Wait -- I remember now... two teams Oregon beat this season.
Show us your O Face, Bucks.
Fuck, I'm pumped. I mean, the atmosphere around here... it's like it's a national holiday or something.
Re: Somebody pull The Ohio State University off me.
???
Yup, posted an hour before gametime. Then went to a party to watch the game. Then did stuff for the rest of the weekend.
Not sure which part of that is so hard to believe?

Ok, fine... but a little duckie told me that if Oregon had gotten over, you'd have been tearing shit up in here the same day. Yes?
And even if not, if you're going to run smack about how your team is going to rape another, it's considered good manners to at least face the music and come correct with-in 24 hours. At least it is with me.

No.War Wagon wrote: Ok, fine... but a little duckie told me that if Oregon had gotten over, you'd have been tearing shit up in here the same day. Yes?
Are you suggesting I should plan my social life around this board?
Seriously?

I guess you really are serious.
Yeah, buddy -- let me just drop what I'm doing (attending a party, no less, on a holiday) so I can race to a computer in order to let a buncha dudes I've never met make fun of me.
I have some advice for you -- back away from the keyboard.

Of course not.Dinsdale wrote: Are you suggesting I should plan my social life around this board?
I'm suggesting you're a cowardly, lying, mouthy, bandwagoning punk whose 20,000 + posts suggest you don't have a social life.
Clear enough?
Re: Somebody pull The Ohio State University off me.
Beyond my refusal to abandon a Rose Bowl party to rush onto the internet to comment on it here, you got a link?War Wagon wrote:I'm suggesting you're... cowardly
Or at least the text-based internet equivalent... you at least got one right.mouthy
Been rooting for the same teams since I was a little kid, and will only root for others on a very short-term basis, and only when it serves the purpose of my primary rooting interests.bandwagoning
But if you'd care to cite so much as one example of me "bandwagoning" anything, I'm all ears.
The Dinsdale is quite gifted at the art of walking and chewing gum at the same time. Your perception that the two are mutually exclusive seems on par with your ability to grasp anything else -- limited.20,000 + posts suggest you don't have a social life.
But included in your array of falsehoods was this gem:
Priceless.lying
