Experts have Cowboys #3?

I gotta laugh at that one. How about we wait for this underacheiving franchise to win a playoff game.

The #3 team should be the Eagles followed closely by the Packers. Don't let a vanilla gameplan fool you into thinking they aren't the team to beat in the NFC.

My top five at season's end are

1. Dallas
2. San Diego
3. Minnesota
4. Indianapolis
5. Green Bay

It's about who is playing the hottest right now and doing all the things playoff teams need to do to win, not about what you did in September and October.
All signs point to a Dallas/San Diego Super Bowl. The rest of the NFC is a joke. The only hurdle the Cowboys have would be in Minnesota, but after that they will play whoever kicks New Orleans' ass, and that NFC title game will be in Big D. In the AFC the Chargers are the hottest team and the Patriots are not in their dome. The only team that poses a threat to San Deigo would be Baltimore who already beat them this year and plays a similar style. The Chargers own Indianapolis but they are still the second best overall team in the AFC. I just see B'More as that dark horse that would have a SHOT at the Chargers.

SD/DAL SB will be awesome, but the Chargers simply don't have the horses in the backfield to run with Dallas. I know I'm looking to weeks from now but I just don't see that one sneaky team in either conference pulling off a lucky run.

And how did that work out for you a couple weeks back?
You're right. That didn't go too well, but the Chargers only won by 7. And that was before Wade made the adjustments that have resulted in back-to-back shutouts. Plus most of the yards were through the air, and lets not forget that Ware got injured in that game. I think in the rematch , it will come down to the running game (which Dallas is superior) and defensive front (Dallas again superior). But it will feature the top two QBs in the league in my opinion besides P. Manning. Edge simply favors Dallas here if you look at all the matchups. And yes, Witten is better than Gates.

The Saints laugh in your general direction.
FEMA's team was a cute little story back in Sept/Oct, but everyone is over it and now it's time for the big boys to hit the field. They are a one and done- mark my words. Can't run the ball, can't stop the run.

"After flailing on the ground for the first several weeks of the season, SDG has turned things around dramatically in the running game, producing the most fantasy points among NFL backfields over the past six weeks. A big part of that is the versatility that RBs LaDainian Tomlinson and Darren Sproles bring to the table. The Chargers have produced the 3rd-most receiving FAN PPG from their RBs"

Yahoo FF

much easier to post this quote than grab the actual stats...all in all, fantasy points can and do interpolate into valid production numbers.

So San Diego's 11 game win streak isn't the hottest you babbling iodot? Heck their backups could give the Boys something to think about.

The Boys are playing decent ball, but if they have to face a 3-4 defense, mark my words, they will be beat.
