Get real.
You seek attention, you crave approval, and you demand validation of your team, their schedule, their conference, and yes, you want your opinion respected. That's why you post and there's no other reason.
And there's nothing wrong with that. That's what we all do to one extent or another. Just don't try to make it into something it's not, or get upset when people disagree/argue with you or call you a BSH.
I mean, how many responses of: "You're absolutely right, Sam. Alabama is the greatest and the SEC is beyond reproach. The rest of us bow down to your superior BTPCFB knowledgable self." do you really want or expect?
However, when someone uses the "everyone agrees with me, not with you" argument for validation of their claims...that's pretty pitiful. I simply pointed out that I was not the only person who could see that TCU was not on a par with the better teams in the nation.
Methinks y'alls' beef should be with SCS, not me. He's the one who threw out the "everbody likes me better than you" childish crap in support of his opinion.

What bias of mine enters into my argument that TCU is not a top level team? The initial premise that I offered was simply that TCU and Boise had not played anyone of significance nor did they appear to be teams of superior talent. My saying that they would not fare well in any BCS conference was how this originated.
I think that is pretty apparent to anyone who has watched a lot of football. However, I have friends who disagree and friends who agree.
Although I wish each of them had played a BCS team in a bowl (and either or both could have won, no doubt), I think their game the other night showed that they both have major deficiencies. Mainly in the numbers of talented kids. Neither gets the top level talent and that's just a fact.

Yes, Boise or TCU could beat either Texas or Bama. But they wouldn't do well playing a full schedule in either conference. That's been my point all along. No doubt they could spring an upset here or there. But playing an 8-game Big 12 or SEC conference schedule would not be as kind to them as the schedule they played in their respective conferences.

There's also a lot of volatility in NFL line ups... I could see how numbers can fluctuate depending on at what point the website updates the information and which players on active rosters, IR, etc. I decided to test out the theory I mentioned in my edit and I looked on the link you provided for me for a player I know is on a team but is not on the active roster. CBS.com still has Reggie Smith listed as a member of the SF 49ers though he is only on the practice squad now. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/pl ... ggie-smithSunCoastSooner wrote:I got mine from the official NFL website.Papa Willie wrote:http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootbal ... chool/6820Do you know how many players TCU has in the NFL? Regardless, TCU doesn't have more NFL players than half of the SEC. While their numbers are respectable, you can clearly see that they are in line with the bottom third of the SEC. The SEC has far more players in the NFL than any other conference. This is why the SEC sucks so bad.

Nobody has said the SEC sucks, the majority of people have said that it is not as powerful this year as it has been in previous years, it's an average conference this season.
I also think you're probably wrong about the CBS being from just the beginning of the season because it still has Jammal Brown listed as an active member of the Saints and he was hurt wellllllll before the beginning of the season.
