USC gets shut down for cheating?

now, I know of an old school, highly successful coach already in the So Cal area who has had the most manly, winningest, meanest bunch of 12 year old killers to ever take the gridiron and then get in the minivan and learn decimals. USC might want to look in his direction.

I believe Petey was told what's coming

He has been waiting for an LA(NFL) team, which will be next year or 2, and he heard the news or more stuff that is going to be added and he bailed.

NCAA tried as hard as they could to deny punishing USC, Petey and USC was the golden egg for NCAA, LA market badnwagoning the program, petey goes, now they pay the piper. The worst part, is that there is so much proof of wrong doing, yet the NCAA never even said a word about it. No SMU penalties, but i see 2-3 years of probation.

I see Riley as next head coach, unless Fisher really wants the gig, reported Bud Adams would let Fisher leave for USC, to get out of the contract fisher has(amazing, the guy is the reason the titans were div champs, been to super bowl, etc).

If so, the shift of Pac-10 power might go back to Washington and UCLA. Time for SC to bust out the cardinal facemasks again.

Yeah, I remember seeing something a few months back that said Yahoo Sports has some shit on Petey they're going to unleash hell come Spring. I still don't think anything will happen but I guess we'll see in a few months. Maybe Pete knows something we don't know or maybe he just wants to prove he can win in the NFL.

Its not about cheating, but I would epxect a lot of stories to all of a sudden surface like this one, minor or major, now that he's leaving town. Funny how people just sit on stories for years until coaches/players leave and then start coming out of the woodwork...

Probably one of the most rewarding byproducts in all this is that the little snarky, arrogant freshman QB Barkley loses his sugar daddy and gets to spend the next couple years on probation with hopefully no TV, postseason, etc. etc.

While USC's comeback as an elite program in next few years is uncertain, one thing is certain: cal, oregon and those gutty little bruins will continue to be second tier programs.
