It's a Jets game in the first half.

Sanchez takes care of the ball and makes a couple of plays.
15 rushes for 72 yds.
Defense forces two turnovers.
Palmer is allowed no big plays.

Jets up by a TD.

Lookin' good.

I haven't watched the Jets much this year but color me very impressed. Just a solid team thru and thru. They don't need Sanchez to do much to beat you, as long as he doesn't beat himself.

Very impressed with Sanchez' performance. No mistakes and he's made some excellent throws.

It is the Bengals.

But I wholeheartedly agree. The Bengals are sort of like the Saints light. Looked pretty good in October but their true colors came out in December and you knew they were too soft to compete with the Jets. Yet like a sucker I picked them (I didn't feel good about that pick either, just a hunch).

The Jets should play San Diego next and that will be a HELL of a game. I am already looking forward to it. Chargers have to be confident, and obviously they have more gonads than the Bengals. That would be the game where you'd have to think that the rookie QB fucks up somehow. But if he's error free in that game, all bets are off. I like New York running game better than San Diego's at this point but you have to wonder about that punter and if he'll be back for next weekend.

Shayne Graham is/will be to Cincy what Lin Elliot was to KC.

Fail!

Look at these douchebag Bengals getting all frustrated and crying for pass interference penalties. Then they get to the ten and it's lights-out because Palmer and Ocho are simply not clutch. Then that idiot kicker misses.

As great a QB as Palmer is, how come the media never talks about how he can't win a playoff game? After Tony Romo gets his four playoff wins this year, I think it's time to pick on Palmer, fair or not. Does Brees have a playoff win outside of that rigged one at the Superdome back in '05? There's another susposedly great QB who chokes in the clutch consistantly.

And rack the Lin Elliot reference. Even Theesman saw that it was a complete gag job and Graham's fault only.

So the Bengals have now gone almost 20 years without winning a playoff game. I imagine it's been about that long since they played any defense too. Here's hoping #85 owns up to his bet and changes his name back to Johnson (appropriate, isn't it?). I mean, he did get blanketed by the same guy two weeks in a row after all.
