Personally, I don't think it's even a question. Leno is a squeaky voiced bum who sucks up to the likes of Chuck Norris and Arnie, etc. The real question is who the fuck is running NBC??

Arguably one of the most idiotic series of decisions in network TV history.

1) NBC agreeing to a contract in 2004 to give O'Brien the Tonight Show and remove Leno as the host in 2009. All Leno had done from 1995 to 2004 was kick Letterman's ass in the ratings - which would continue through 2009 when Leno was forced to resign the show to O'Brien. That's like replacing Bill Cosby on The Cosby Show at the height of its popularity. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. TV 101, folks.

2) Agreeing in that contract to pay O'Brien somewhere in the $50 million neighborhood if NBC didn't give him the Tonight Show.

3) Not paying O'Brien the $50 million penalty clause in his contract and keeping the still dominant Leno as the host of The Tonight Show.

4) Giving Leno a show in prime time that a) sucked balls, b) fucked up NBC's schedule , and c) completely undermined O'Brien's Tonight Show.

5) Finally realizing the clusterfuck and totally screwing both Leno and O'Brien in the process, very publicly no less. Although it looks like Leno is getting his old gig back. Well done NBC execs. You managed to completely screw up your network and lose a ton of money, respect and credibility in the process. The end result: the same host you had in 2004 before you went circling the drain and probably without his old ratings.

Both of them are funny and talented. Different strokes. My kids like Conan better and I personally prefer David Letterman over either of them. They'll get it all worked out and life will go on.
