I did. The numbers are all over the place. Anywhere from 4 to 18 million.

His original post was saying that Weis would get $18 million. When I said it was closer to $6M is when he started to lose his shit.

There were no post firing negotiations, just ND cutting him a check. Why? Because his contract was renegotiated prior to the 2009 season.

Like I said, I bet this will be burried on page 11 or 12 by the time late November rolls around.

Rack Swarbrick for renegotiating the buyout. It was kinda embarrassing to be paying our former head coach more than our current head coach, as we were for a time due to White's incompetence. At least we won't repeat that mistake.

Unrack him, however, for the duration of the buyout. As things stand now, we face the possibility, down the road, of actually having to pay buyouts to two coaches simultaneously, although that would be the lesser of our concerns even if it did come to pass.
