The Senate is the ultimate old boys' club, and Hillary spent eight years there. They'll take care of their own. Sure, there will be some Republicans who rant and rave about her, but they'll do so only for their own benefit with their voting base, and not enough to threaten her confirmation.

It would be the best thing that could happen to the Democratic Party, imho. Hillary at the top of the Democratic ticket is a straight-up recipe for disaster for the Democrats.
