KSE, Devil Wears Prada and Dark Tranquility Review

Saw the show tonight in Charlotte, Amo's Southend a garden variety concert hall...small venue...never been...

Line is out the ass around 7 pm ish, as we are in line...sign out front...Howard Jones (lead Singer of KSE is sick and the lead singer of All That Remains is subbing), you could get a refund if you want...fuck that...they still will rock right?

Dark Tranquility - another Swedish Metal group that plays fast and whatever...I wasn't too impressed with the singer, but the muscianship was decent...

The Devil Wears Prada - I had heard bits and pieces about this group...so I am standing next to the sound guys...and some folks crowd in...it was the lead singers family from TDWP...they are from Dayton, Ohio (the band)...sweet...so we talk a little...they are HIGH ENERGY, pretty tight, and put on a hell of a show...I think they are defined as Christian/Nu Metal...if there is such a category...I am going to check out some more of their shit...they rocked it hard...

KSE - FUCKING AWESOME...even without Howard...fucking Phil from ATR (All that Remains) fucking was nails...Justin Foley is one of my favorite drummers and he and his band mates did not disappoint...the only downer for me...they did not play Daylight Dies...but they put on a hell of a show...glad I saw them in a smaller venue...

next up for me hopefully Monster Mayhem...fucking return of KORN, Lamb of God and Five Finger Death Punch...
