I was in chat a few months ago when someone (don't remember who) posted that Marty was Perk, and Otis (who was in the chat room at the time, while Marty wasn't) replied that it wasn't true. This was around the time that Marty was playin' it up in here that he really might be Perk with posts intimating that whom one goes on vacation with should be considered personal info and whatsuch. My response to Otis was essentially what I quoted you as saying above - that I was skeptical of Marty being Perk because the latter was never known to bring the funnay. Otis just gave me a . Seemed kinda defensive to me, so I asked him if he was Perk, and he came clean. After that he began to shout it from the mountain top like it was part of a 12-step program. Shortly thereafter, Van (I think) and others started giving Marty a hard time for claiming to be Perk, and Marty rightly corrected them by saying he never made the claim. In fact, for a long time Marty consistently denied that he was Perk, and no one bought it, so he just started playing along. Only case I'm aware of where a poster was basically trolling not because he started the troll job, but because others started it for him. And it was played to perfection.
