Happy π Day

π=3.14 that is or 22/7 a handy number if your are dealing with the geometry of circles. I'm going to celebrate with some fried seafood and a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Enjoy.

Slide rule ? You are really dating yourself. I'm wondering if half the posters here ever used one. I had a "pocket Pickett" in college, not one of the long K and E jobs the engineering guys had on their belts. Years ago, my older son saw it and asked me what it was. I showed him how to use it and he was impressed. He quickly went back to his HP programmable calculator.

My grandpa was an electrical engineer for Anaconda Wire and Cable. I ended up with his sliderule, which was a beautiful piece of precision tooling. Can't find it now, though.
