And of course it goes far beyond the hundreds of billions of tax payer dollars flushed down the toilet--as our infrastructure and social programs go bankrupt.

There were no lies. They were guessing in the absence of any real intelligence. Of course, YOU ignore the fact that we weren't supposed to be guessing in the first place. Saddam was obligated to lay all his cards on the table. He was supposed to have declared, inventoried and destroyed all his of NBC programs and associated delivery systems under our direct supervision no later than Dec. 1992.

Needless to say, that didn't happen. We dick danced around with that fuckhead for nine years until 9/11 happened. At that point the emminently reasonable decision was made that we could no longer afford to not know what he was up to. His past track record did not give him any benefit of doubt.
