Question for tOSU fan

I’ve been meaning to post this ever since tOSU got eliminated. I was at the games in Milwaukee and enjoyed the opportunity to see Evan Turner in person. Very smooth, talented, unflappable. But why is he playing point guard?

Dude is 6’7” with a nice high dribble that is not that difficult for defenders to get at. In Milwaukee I saw a lot of instances where defenders got a hand on the ball, even if they didn’t manage to steal it. I just thought that gee, if one of the sweet 16 teams saw that on tape, they’d maybe put some extra pressure on him, and it seemed that Tennessee did exactly that.

There’s nothing wrong with running the offense through Turner, but why have him bring the ball up the floor? Don’t y’all have a nice little close-to-the-ground point guard that could do that?

Not even on the women's team?

Goobs...I would make the case of PJ Hill...but for some reason he hasn't played since Turner got back...high energy guy who can press and at least dribble up the court...

both Hill and Simmons didn't see much action toward the end of the year and that bit OSU in the ass in the tourney...5 guys can't play 30 plus minutes a game and keep up that level of endurance, etc...

tOSU gets a true PG next year...in Craft...
