I'd give passing grades to Obama on Iraq and A-stan. He didn't cut and run like the libtard pussies wanted him to. He's staying the course in Iraq which is pretty much a done deal now and he's ratcheting up the heat in A-stan as well. I believe fighting in A-stan will be just about over after this spring offensive and Obama will take all the credit of course.
On everything else he's the biggest failure in modern history.

The economy has been recovering, right? So, tell me exactly how it's failed. Based on poptart's prediction of total economic meltdown by April, his handling of the economy has been a resounding success.

Like I said, just because you don't like it doesn't make it a failure. He got a reform package, which was disliked by people on both sides for different reason, through Congress. More than any of his predecessors was able to do. The status quo is fukked, so something needed to be done, and the fact that he was able to get it passed without any Republican support, and only divided support of his own party, makes it a success at least politically. The effects of the package and whatever follows won't be known until years down the road.

Foreign Affairs - North Korea where talks are stalled and the ChiComms are no longer cooperating despite Bush's success getting then involved. Iran snubbing Obama despite Obama's outreach efforts (remember the Christmas video?). Russia snubbing the US by announcing its committment to assist the Iranians in completing contruction on a nuke plant...while Hillary was in Moscow. Obama has done nothing about any of this. In fact, it's so obvious that nothing has been done that even Schumer is now proposing tougher sanctions and keeping the military option open re: Iran. Meanwhile, Israel builds homes in it's own capital and the President and VP both "condemn" Israel. It seems that dictators and terror-sponsors get coddling and our only ME ally gets "condemned" for bldg homes in its own capital and, btw, everyone recognizes will remain its capital.

On health care, it's not even a political victory. He's tanking on the issue. It was a success only in that he was able achieve his personal goal but it relied on bribing legislators Current example, Stupak bringing hundreds of millions in earmarks to the floor on Monday.

And appealing to a politician is a politician is a politician is bogus, Mikey. The man completely upended representative democracy not only bribing legislators but also attaching a completely unrelated student loan bill to it.

Mikey, give me one substantive success...one. It will pale relative to the failures.

Oh, on promises...Gitmo, prosecuting Bush officials, rendition, wireless surveillance, Iraq and Afghanistan...I've chronicled many of the expired promises here before...

Lastly, re: KSM - See Holder and Obama granting him access to civilian courts. Sure, the administtation tried to say that Holder was responsible for the disposition of the #1 terrorist in detention, but that doesn't fly.
