Re: Top 10 Live Cars Songs
I've got a bootleg from 79 that I listen to frequently that is bad ass. I've shared links to the songs here before, I might have to do it tonight when I get home from work.

Re: Top 10 Live Cars Songs
Of course not. That was probably their worst single from the first album.

Let's Go is easily the Cars' best song-imo-btw.

If you're a FLAC snob like me, there's a 16 bit copy still up at Trader's Den.

Re: Top 10 Live Cars Songs
I remember in the late 80's when Elliot Easton copped to unconsciously ripping off (I think) the riff on the Beatles' Mother Nature's Son....on a solo single he had. it's not a big deviation from how he plays anyway, esp. on something like Bye Bye Love or the solo on Best Friend's G....circular fills and stuff. He said, "yeah, it's pretty much the same riff...i love that song. it just happened" (paraphrase).
i respected him for that display of not ego-first, how dare you question my genius i'm a frickin' rock star.....just straight answer.
