That one is relatively easy.

The appropriate punishment for this guy is the maximum punishment allowed by law in California. Anything less would be a travesty of justice. Anything more would violate due process.

That assumes, of course, that he ultimately is found guilty of the charges filed against him. As I understand it, that hasn't happened yet.

Depends on what they charge him with he could get as little a s few years on an 245(a)(1)... or two or he could get life if they can get a kidnap to stick.
After reading what Bob "The Hammer" Lee has said about the case I would be surprised if they plea this to less than 15 to life. If they go to trial... who knows?
