It’s Louisiana. Wouldn’t that cover about 80% of the pregnancies?

Guess you'll just have to kill your kids on your own dime.

As a female, I don't see a problem with this at all. I don't see any circumstances to abort a baby.
Sorry!

Do you think trev ever has to worry about getting raped?

A rape victim has to carry the fetus to term? Do you really want that??
As 88 said....
And it is a personal decision.

The chances of that happening are small. I would make the decision if/when the time came. There would be a lot of variables to that scenario. I would probably let nature take it's course. But that's just me.

No shit? Abortion is, and should be, based entirely on circumstance. It's funny how so many pro-lifers have such a black-and-white approach to abortion until they're put into the spotlight as to what THEY'D do.

If it's a situation like Jsc describes, and it's a threat to the woman's health, then the insurance company should be compelled to cover it. If the fetus is already dead, then is it still an abortion anyway?

They are. Medically necessary abortions are covered. The law is only targeting elective abortions.

Your opinion doesn't matter. You are a male.

Yeah, as in
"If a black guy knocks up my white daughter, she's getting that abortion!"

It is a stupid law. The State should not be involved in setting such terms. They should not be allowed to mandate abortion coverage. They should not be allowed to ban coverage.
It's that little free enterprise thingy that used to be practiced in this country.
It has nothing to do with whether or not you think abortion should be legal. Personally, I think we should have some pretty strong laws protecting unborn people, but, until whacking your baby becomes illegal, the gubmint should but the fukk out.

I said this once about 7 years ago.
Abortion should NOT be considered a birth control option. You get ....3. After that...tubes tied.
And after that, men should shut the hell up, if they are not married to the woman. Otherwise, morality aside, it's the woman's decision.

but legislated morality, idiot. All of it. I shouldn't have to explain that to a lawyer.

No freebies. The only authorized form of elective abortion should be a complete hysterectomy.
