I might have to say Omaha Beach.

As soon as the 88's started whizzing over the landing craft, I'd ditch my gear and swim back across the Channel.
Of course, I'd probably stick cotton balls in my ears, so I wouldn't hear the cries and screams of my brothers being torn apart
on the beach by German MG fire.

I'd run away from the Somali Pirates, Ben Johnson, me. I'd run away from Rwanda or Waco. I'd have run away from pretty much any battle in the Great War - hide under the corpses then piss off at night, nothing but a vapour trail. Adios amigos.

They were also used against landing craft on D-Day, dumbass. I have a pretty good idea what I'd be fleeing in terror from.

Absolutely concur. Although I will listen to fans of Verdun, Passchendaele, Galipoli, any of the Itlalian WWI campaigns against the Austrians... Oh hell, that whole war epitomized unnecessary waste of human life.
