Well, it's been nice knowing you guys, but I'm done with ND

They finally did it. They finally broke my spirit. The school I grew up for loving and rooting for is officially dead to me. As everyone who comes to this board knows, I've stood up for ND for a long time. It hasn't been easy being an ND fan over the past 15+ years, but I tried to defend Our Lady whenever I could. Alas, I can do no more.

Was it the multiple failed coaching searches resulting in shitty coaches?
Was it the inept leadership?
Was it the lack luster play on the field?
Was it the possibility of joining a conference?

No to all of the above.

This is what finally did it:

http://www.youtube.com/user/NDdotEDU#p/ ... 6mE9Au3CwM

What. The. Fuck.

That is from the official athletic website, which means that ND sunk good money into that abortion.

It's getting increasingly difficult to be associated with anything Notre Dame.

on the Colorado board I troll, they've decided that the ND vid is even worse than KSU's Willie the Wildcat/Power Towel video....the long reigning champ of bad.

Shit, I don't get Killian's consternation. That thing sure beats having slobbering Granny Holtz pimp 'em.

That Prince lookin' bass was pretty sweet, and whaddya know, ND actually has some sexy cheerleaders!

The K-State one ruled simply for using a Joe Satriani song.

Now I want to see Oregon's version, which ought to approach porn levels of sluttiness, then I want to see Mississippi State's, set to the "Deliverance" theme.

They made a cheesy video and sought out the cheesiest rock music they could find. I'm not sure that'd be much of a compliment to Satriani.

So what? Satriani still beats 99% of the dreck that's usually used whenever Group Think becomes involved. Take that same video and use a Right Said Fred song instead, and now you've got a shitty video with shitty music. At least with Satch being there, there's some redeeming quality to that clip.

I agree. The comedy factor. Most people wouldn't be able to listen to that clip and not laugh out loud at what sounds like a soundboard to a bad Nintento surf & skate game.

Most people are complete musical idiots, too, which is why they would immediately go to a video game analogy.

ND video review - Big and Rich wannabees with a gay ass version of Jungle Love. Oh-we-oh-we-oh

KState video review - sad at first but then sort of entertaining

Alaska video - Polar bear terrorists blowing up colleges, volcanoes and the world is everything I could ask for in a hype video

But this is how you do it...

I love in the UAF video how he blows up Miami, Ohio State and Michigan State. I wonder if there's a reason behind that?

T - If Deion Sanders hadn't been doing "The Rap" on the sidelines before that Miami game, FSU might have actually scored.

NEVER try to out-goldtoof a Goldtoof...

If they hadnt done that rap, FSU wouldve at least shared the MNC that year with ND.

Anyway just found this song from 1979 on youtube...

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SroY04KPHAg&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SroY04KPHAg&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Ended up losing to OU in the Orange Bowl....couldve been Bobbys first MNC.

FSU is 0-2 with songs. Leave the singing and dancing to the bears

No shit, but why not U-M, NMU or Notre Dame? They're CCHA members as well. Why not rival Anchorage?

Ohio State hasn't been decent for years, dumbfuck. Kinda like the Mankato of the CCHA.

He was looking ahead. tOSU just hired a Badger assistant to coach their team. They’re on their way up.

6 national titles, dickbreath. Osiecki was a part of two of them, one as a player and one as a coach. tOSU is in good hands. Same cannot be said for Kalamazoo Tech, which should probably be moved to Division III.

Let’s consider the present. Wisconsin just finished their season 28-11-4, made the title game, led by this year’s Hobey Baker winner. Kalamazoo Tech finished at the bottom of their 2nd tier conference with a grand total of 8 wins. Choke on a dick, slappy.

Hey Killian,

The guy originally did a Reds video.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/MbxMyY8wazs&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/MbxMyY8wazs&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

ND saw this video and thought we got to get this guy....

And here is noJ raping as DJ TreeStump...

the lyrics to Reds Fan are pretty fucking amazing. poor Freakbass, I guess the world decided it didn't care about the token slap-playing guy who likely spent the 90's and more of the early 00's in Chili Peppers and Primus "inspired" or cover bands.

there should never be "rhymes" written and performed about Ricki Stanzi. really.

First thought as a fan on the ND video: Simply. Fucking. Horrible.

If dude had just been a run-of-the-mill fan trying to prop his love for ND, I might've been a bit more charitable and given him an A for effort. But the knowledge that ND's athletic department sank some of its :bode: into that, well, that's just wrong (to put it VERRRRRY mildly).

First thought as an attorney: Morris Day and the Time might have a valid lawsuit for copyright infringement. Posted for those too young to remember:

Not really my area of law, though, so I'll defer to 88 for a definitive answer on that one.
