RACK the Philly cop who hit paydirt.

Yeah, it's not very "chicken shit" to think so highly of yourself that you interrupt a sporting event by running around amongst the participants ... where you DON'T BELONG.Cueball wrote:Pretty chicken shit. Shed a few lbs and tackle the kid like it says in baseball's unwritten rule book

Perhaps you could have suggested that the interloper must have been as drunk as Ed Podolak.poptart wrote:That was for you, Wagon.
Only regret that I could find a way to get Ed Podolak in that take.

Philly cop? Fuck that. Rack the AZ cop taking down this illegal.BSmack wrote:

Watch this video and note what Raul Ibanez does as the kid takes a turn towards his direction. Given that they have NO idea if this kid was on drugs or drunk or carrying anything, the minute he steps onto the field he becomes a threat and unless he gives himself up, the cop has discretion to use a certain level of force and considering the ONLY person who got hurt was the asshole who illegally entered trespassed onto the field, I don't get why people are up in arms over what this cop did.Go Coogs' wrote:I usually side with "by any means necessary" when apprehending a criminal; however, authorities need to use a little common sense when chasing down a hooligan at a baseball game. In this case it was an unnecessary act by the Philly cop. This was a kid not running at someone. He was just running aimlessly in shallow left. The only threat was that fat philly cop getting popped with a rally towel by said teenager. Just chase the little fucker down until he makes the wrong move and then tackle him and take him away. How hard is that?
Except that he didn't get hurt. The fans seemed to enjoy it. I suppose the alternative would be tranquilizer darts. That would be equally amusing.jiminphilly wrote: the ONLY person who got hurt was the asshole who illegally entered trespassed onto the field,
That's exactly what they did. This is not your run of the mill "hooligan." This is Philly Fan.authorities need to use a little common sense when chasing down a hooligan at a baseball game.

Well, the CRIMINAL in quesion was a pure-bred Beantown Spic. Hence the liberal defense of said fuckstick. Had it been a white trash parker, he got what he deserved.Van wrote:Coddle the fuck out of everyone, that seems to be their knee-jerk response to each and every issue.
You think the cops are being paid at the venue by the taxpayers?Martyred wrote:IndyFrisco wrote: The ballplayers are considered assets. VERY EXPENSIVE ASSETS! Bomb strapped to his waist so what, right libtards!?!?
Question: Why are taxpayer funded cops doing security in a private venue protecting private assets?
This is a very libertarian argument. Tread lightly.

So the security guards job is to remove the drunken shitbag as quickly as possible to protect the safety of the players, umpires and coaches, but he should really see how it plays out first? They can still use force, just once things get out of hand?Go Coogs' wrote: Had this been two drunkards from Chicago beating the shit out of a first base coach, then yeah, taser the fuck out of those fools and take a bat to their domes.
Unlike in Canada where every service is paid by taxpayers, police detail in America at sporting events is paid by the owner of the team. Sometimes, the owner is the city rather than an individual or a group of individuals, but that is the exception, not the rule.Martyred wrote:I don't know how your ridiculous sports circuses work down there. And it's not just overly exuberant fans at baseball games...
A deer that was lost in an East Oakland residential neighborhood was shot seven times and killed by Oakland police this past weekend.
According to a San Francisco Chronicle report, the young deer was lost and had jumped over a fence into a backyard. Officials said the deer was shot because "it was acting disoriented in an urban environment" and that it was a public safety issue with children present.
Because "just maybe"..they're not supposed to be there in the first place and are breaking the Law?Why are cops chasing people around the field in the first place?
Beantown Spic? I believe he was a Philadelphia Dago.IndyFrisco wrote:Well, the CRIMINAL in quesion was a pure-bred Beantown Spic. Hence the liberal defense of said fuckstick. Last I checked, tazers were legal to buy and carry in PA. So no, it didn't HAVE to be a cop.Moving Sale wrote:Looks like a good takedown to me given the facts, but I would say that the cops probably should not be involved in the first place. Actually it did- you can not own a tazer in Philly (but somehow the Philly PD circumvents this law).BSmack wrote:Last I checked, tazers were legal to buy and carry in PA. That sucks. Why bother owning a tazer if you can't use it on the people who deserve it most?jiminphilly wrote:BSmack wrote:Actually it did- you can not own a tazer in Philly (but somehow the Philly PD circumvents this law).

I didn't mean beantown boston. Beantown as in beaner...Beantown Spic in my meaning was more redundant than anything else.Goober McTuber wrote:Beantown Spic? And that seemed a perfect use for a taser. Apparently players were holding their gloves over their faces to hide their laughter.
