Not to drop this into the Tiger Wood thread, I will let all you boxing fans see for yourselves. Tyson lifted Douglas off the floor with that uppercut. It seems that both fighters had the benefit of long counts. Like that helped Tyson. The clip takes about 9 minutes.

As for Mike Tyson, case in point! He was bangin' like a tantric adept and unifying the title quite nicely, thank-you, until he got hooked by that mercifully forgotten harpy bitch--and then he was suddenly very vulnerable. However, it needs to be clarified that he in fact won that fight with Buster Douglass by a knockout (steamshovel uppercut) and was cheated of his proper victory by a long count. It was shameful, Douglass was allowed to get up, beat the bell and survive--and knock out Iron Mike. Look it up.
And I even helped you all look it up.

It didn't look like a "long count" to me.
Buster barely got to his feet in time and I guess you could imagine the referee was slow with his count - but it was at worst a borderline long count.
Tough shit for Mike.
Buster had his number that night.

Ahhh...I retract my "long count" allegation, though Mike did get a rather quick .."eight--nine-ten.." And he was done even if he was allowed to continue. But the original point--that Mike's earlier
wrecking machine prowess was in fact connected to his tantric diet, and his present vulnerability was due to his pussy whipped state 'o mind, etc., remains.

As for great slugfests, here's one of the best. It's only five rounds, but I can't imagine any other fighters in history lasting more than three of this.
