I couldn't agree more Sam. Obama should fire Salazar and replace him with an honest to God environmentalist.

He is a tard but the 'boom to nowhere' label is a bit misguided. I'll take the word of the people in charge of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge over the word of Laguna Key homeowner John Simms, whoever the hell that is.

Of course you wouldn't be expected to know any of this (or care), but some of the greatest Supreme Court justices were never judges before they were appointed.

In fact, it was common practice before about 20 years ago.

If you want to bitch about Obama, which I realize is your primary only objective here in what's left of your mostly useless existence, you might suggest that he appoint somebody who isn't from either Harvard or Yale.

Of course you wouldn't be expected to know any of this (or care), but From 1995 to 1999, Kagan served as Clinton's Associate White House Counsel and Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy and Deputy Director of the Domestic Policy Council. And since 1/5/2009 she's been Solicitor General of the United States.

I guess none of that counts as "experience in government".
