I propose that a T1B "Council Of Elders" be formed among 5 of the most wisened, venerable smack elocutionists.
They would be drawn from a pool of the finest non-admins of this board. A Grand Body to weigh in on matters beyond simple moderation by the present T1B staff. I'm thinking, a cross between The Supreme Court and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. They should be virtuous in their impartiality and steadfast in their ubiquity.
A special denomination, like an oak wreath may be affixed to their name and title, and matters brought forth to them as warranted by events and circumstance.

We tried this already - no funds to bring the councilors on. We asked the Deciders to take pay cuts for the good of team. We proposed a new minimum salary of 98k, while upping the performance clauses. The rep didn't get back to us. All I get are out-of-office replies.

They were so offended by the request they demanded a 15% pay raise.
