Van, as an affirmed atheist, why do you care?

Rog, despite being an affirmed retard, you could at least try to find out what "atheist" means.
Oh, and while you're at it, see if you could maybe avoid dumbshitting up yet another thread.

Well Van,
As a former Episcopalian, which you are not, and a current Anglican, which you are not, I think I know Juuuuust a bit more about this issue than you.
Stop tarding up threads about which you have NOOOOOOO idea.
Thanks in advance.
Your freind,
Scott

Rog, goddammit, you were asked NOT to dumbshit up yet another thread, but you just couldn't help yourself, could you?
Okay, since you know so much about this issue, go ahead and refute what I said about it. Oh, and good luck with that, since I said nothing about it except "Bwaaa!"
You don't know even know what you're arguing about, but dadgummit, you're gonna be...RIGHT!
How very Rog_the_Warren of you to dribble one back to the mound even during batting practice.

Van,
Why did about 60% of the members of the ECUSA break off and join the Anglican Church?
Hint: It had nothing to do with gay bishops.
Again, you have no idea about what you are trying to talk about.
I do.
Why go here, with me? You can't win.

Why go
where with you, you insipid dirtclod? Was there any mention of you in the original post? Have I stated a single word in this thread about the Anglican church? Have I offered up an opinion on anything at all about this story, other than laughter in the title?
"You have no idea what you're trying to talk about."
Oh, really? I don't? I don't know what
I'm trying to talk about, yet
you know what I was trying to talk about?
Bwaaaahaaa! So now you're adding "mindreader" to your list of dubious attributes? Jesus, you're an incredible idiot. You may literally be the worst message-boarder I've ever encountered. You're just an epic stew of rampant arrogance, naked insecurity and earthshaking ignorance...plus you're as stupid as a bean burrito.
Dude, eat a dick-flavored shotgun. You've lost what little was left of your mind.

Well,.........
Because it was about a demonination of which I was a part of, and your thread was not posted to any one individual, as you well know, I figured I would respond as one that knows very well ALL about it.
You, on the other hand, know absolutely nothing about the issues about it, other than thinking it is 'funny' that a lesbian was ordained a bishop.
Now, would you like to have a reasonable discourse about this, or go ahead with the "eat a dick-flavored shotgun" type of idiocy?
Van, you are embarassing yourself tonight. Too much to drink? I get that. Been there myself. But not tonight.
The "die" responses to people typing to you are only worthy of people with an IQ of about 80, and you yourself used to make fun of them.
What the HELL happened to you?
I am ashamed for you, even reading what you are typing.
Snap out it! Get some help, man! You are too smart of a person to go down this deep into imbecility.

So what are they fighting about now? Some more transubstantiation bullshit? Maybe the Anglicans want to limit the number of kids they can abuse and the Episcopalian's prefer Rome's no limit approach? Or maybe it is the old favorite of predestination versus free will?

See, Rog? Fucking trev got it, so why did
you have to go shit all over your cage thumping your chest about something no one was even talking about?

<---- at YOU!
Have a "reasonable discourse" with Rog? That's about as likely as having one with a railroad spike.
Rog, you believe in talking snakes and "victories" over the U.S. government by Native American tribes that live on reservations imposed on them by that very same government; belying such brilliant thinking, you also debate about as lucidly as a bowl of tapioca pudding.
Sing us a song, Rog. Raise your voice in honor of the tree sloths and polar bears that migrated to the Middle East to live on a wooden boat. When you're done, lay those evangelical hands of yours on your decrepit back, then see if you can manage to wipe your own ass for once.

Thank you BSmack!
Actually, the transubstantiation thing was settled a LOOng time ago, and that is a Roman Catholic thing( for those who do not know, it means when the priest blesses the wine, it actually BECOMES Jesus' blood, which is really gross).
The kid thing, I get the humor. I guess.
And as far as predestination....man that is a tough one. Personally, I feel that if God knows what we are going to do before we are even born, .....then...who cares.
I don't know. So why worry about it.
No, this is about why the Anglican Church in America, known as Episcopalian(which means ruled by Bishops),returned back to to the Anglican Church( Church of England). They separated because of that whole Amercian revolution thing in the 1700's.
This seperation is not because of gay bishops and such. That is just a tip of the iceberg. The ECUSA, which is northeastern in population, and the the leaders there, began a "change" of the basis of Christian faith, which was not only un-biblical, but down right pagan. Especially, Bishop Shelby Spong.
Quotes:
( some may agree with with this, but to be a Christian Bishop....NO!)
Spong labels the view that ethics, especially sexual ethics, can be derived from the Bible as ‘fundamentalist’ and ‘pre-modern’, whereas he claims his new framework is ‘modern’ and ‘scientific’. He says:
I am amazed that given the knowledge revolution of the last 600 years, anyone could still regard the Bible as the dictated word of God, inerrant and eternal.
In Spong’s world, the findings of objective science continually chip away at our ‘pre-modern’ moral reference, the Bible. For instance, science supposedly has proven that we must change our beliefs about homosexuality:
Contemporary research has today uncovered new facts that are producing a rising conviction that homosexuality — is a healthy, natural and affirming form of human sexuality.
Aint that cool!!!! So, if all people were gay, it's healthy and natural!!! Wonder what Darwin would say about that? Ironic, yes?
Science, Spong believes, is a neutral sifter and accumulator of facts which produces conclusions based on observation and is untarnished by prejudice. Belief in a literal Bible is primitive and produces such ‘mistakes’ as beliefs in Christ’s bodily resurrection and virginal conception, and the idea that homosexual acts are sinful. But now, thanks to science, we have the facts. We know that Jesus neither rose from the grave nor was He born of a virgin, and that homosexual acts are just as valid as heterosexual acts.
If you believe this, FINE!!! But a Christian Bishop????????
So Spong among many others is a BIG reason why the majority left to join The Anglican Church, including me.
The Gay Bishop thing is a small part.
That help?

So it's because they are appointing gay bishops who don't think gays should go to hell. Thanks. That helped a lot.

You're more likely to find a heterosexual priest in a Catholic church than an open Bible.
Pagan, huh?
