BSmack's show, from the short while I spent listening to it, is going to be the night to have something else lined up to do. Unless you like "Rage against the machine" , or the bullshit from the late 90's that made you thankful for the internet, so that you didn't have to spend countless hours of the day switching back and forth between different radio stations everytime some feces passing itself off as music spewed from the speakers. I'm sure he'll play some listenable stuff now and then. But I'm mostly guessing it'll be less often than I can stand. It might be a good idea to keep the mute button on and Pandora going, should you decide to stay in chat the night he has his show going.

Todd, you ignorant cunt. I didn't even play Rage. I'm not even sure if I own any Rage. But if it will get you back to work and away from the keyboard gabbering untold incomprehensible requests, I'll make a point to download and play every last Rage Against The Machine album ever recorded. Damn, if you're going to criticize, at least know what the fuck you're talking about. Well over half of what I played was by request, including the Flaming Lips, Metallica and Better Than Ezra songs that I'm sure got your panties in a knot. So obviously somebody liked it. I also played the Stones request you made and a Simon and Garfunkel request. Other groups I played included Dio, Rush, Miche Fambro, Easy Star All Stars and Johnny Cash. Oh, and I played a local Rochester outfit called Absolution Project. Christ man, open your mind.

Seriously, every song you play will get a yawn from someone. My advice, if someone complains, play the song again or another like it. DJing is a thankless job. Glad you signed up. For months it was just Smackie and I. And now with Windows 7 I can't even access the server.

Anybody with a MAC and MAC OSX 10.6.2 can install NiceCast and DJay and with iTunes it is almost like working with a real radio board and library.NiceCast is like your transmitter and DJay is your 2 turntable board and mixer---sweet. I've got to add more tunes and get headphones so I can do voice over.
