Typical case of a woman thinking her sex will allow her to get away with shit that would get any guy beaten to within an inch of his life. Besides, it looked to me like he pulled his punch. What he should have done was gotten off a bunch of body shots. They would have hurt even more and they wouldn't have had the same visual impact as that overhand right to the face.

You're right, Marty. He should have...but he didn't. Getting punched in the face is the least you can expect to happen when you shove a cop.

I don't know if he was ever issued one, but he didn't have one at that time.

The city is currently selecting the new police chief. One of the candidates is the interm chief. So far he's proved himself during this incident to be a big FAIL.

Not quite to the dawgs, but he hasn't backed him up, either. I've heard conflicting reports as to whether Officer Walsh has been reassigned "for training." And he's said that the incident indicates a need to review their training. Walsh did exactly as he should have, and should have been acknoledged as such immediately. The interm chief is just playing to a very liberal mayor to get the top spot permanently.

I do feel that this cop would have done a lot better for himself by covering her face with capascin and then tazing her. Would have made for a better vid too.

The problem with the spray is that it gets everywhere. And I don't think he would have wanted to further irritate an already unfriendly crowd that was surrounding him at the time.
