The author's point sounds good in theory, but is unrealistic. What that kind of money should guarantee is not that you're going to win an MNC every year but that you're going to be in a position to win an MNC every year. That's where OSU has succeeded and a program like Auburn has failed.

If I recall, when he first broke the story, you called him a hack who has an agenda against USF and/or Leavitt and it turned out he was right. I am sure this story here does hold water.
I still do not like the guy. He got his one big story to hold water even though he did some pretty dirty things to get what he needed to run it. He's never been reprimanded for putting out a story right before the basketball season saying that Coach Heath illegally recruited and illegally practiced. The NCAA found no wrongdoing there.
