George was the owner you loved to hate but love him or hate him he was good for baseball. From bonehead trades and players acquisitions like getting rid of Jay Buhner and getting guys like Steve Trout, Ed Whitson, Steve Kemp etc....the Boss will live on in the hearts and minds of baseball people for a long time.
Now, I can only imagine what he and Billy Martin are saying to each other right now....you're hired, you're fired, you're hired, you're fired.......

RIP George and may there be a baseball team upstairs that you can run into the ground and back to the top.
