Check this out for the tards bitching about their cell plans, you can now drop your carrier that you have to pay for, and get a free phone and 70 free minutes per month all on the government dole just like that !
You can save all that money from selling rock and buy more DVD's...how is that for pay back for votes ..
..at least here in Mexifornia. Prolly the same in most other states too.
Why not free cell phones and cable TV?

Come to think of it, the "poor" should probably be getting free gasoline and a new car trade-in every five years.

Got to be in prison for that perk..my bro in law is a CO at Pelican Bay...# 1 contraband these days is cell phones and of course the cable is free...they are going to start jamming if they can figure out how to do it on a very localized basis around the prison with out fucking up their own com's.

Well...
There is no "Obama phone" or other newly created federal program to provide free cell phones. As you may know, this is a myth that is now circulating on the Web via email and blog sites. It has been thoroughly debunked by independent groups. But the program is funded by telecom companies, not by taxes, and the president has nothing to do with it."
Basically, the telecom companies just pass the buck to the consumers paying full price so those who pay for it are those of us who consume telecom services at full price...a full price that has been rising constantly year over year. And who knows...maybe the telecom companies also get a tax credit for this meaning less company dollars in the pool. That's not a bad thing because I'm for fewer taxes, but if the consumers who pay full price are subsidizing that of the beaners and welfare whores, it's not right.
Oh, and this:
How to Qualify
The process to qualify for Lifeline Service depends on the State you live in. In general, you may qualify if...
1.You already participate in other State or Federal assistance program such as Federal Public Housing Assistance, Food Stamps and Medicaid.
OR
2.Your total household income is at or below of the poverty guidelines set by your State and/or the Federal Government.
AND
3.No one in your household currently receives Lifeline Service through another phone carrier.
4.You have a valid United States Postal Address. In order for us to ship you your free phone you must live at a residence that can receive mail from the US Post Office. Sorry, but P.O. Boxes cannot be accepted.
In addition to meeting the guidelines above you will also be required to provide proof of your participation in an assistance program, or proof of your income level.
Notice there is no qualification to be in this country legally.

everyone in the country needs to see that, every fukking day. government spending a single nickle on pro sports is shameful. that governor needs to watch it every day for the rest of his life so he can realize what a chump he looks like.
