If that happened at USC the NCAA, ESPN and Yahoo would be raking the Trojans football program over the coals right now talking about how the program is ruining the lives of young people who they pressured in to "commiting" to it.

Les is all class. the first thing Mike Gundy did at OK State was run off more than a couple of Les's bad actors and criminals.
Truth is, it's not all Les, a lot of people do it and someone was gonna get caught up in it. In an indirect way, I suppose it speaks to the level of the recruits to get it done in high school.
Tuberville had 4-5 guys not qualify in his Tech class, by comparison.

The NCAA needs to set up a rule against it, if youre only allowed 85 scholarships and you have 73 returning players on scholarships, you only get to sign 12 players. Coaches hedging their bets by over signing every year expecting some of these kids theyre trying to make "commit" to the program to not even be smart enough to get in to the school is bullshit. This kid had been living with the team, was taking part in pre camp work outs and now he has been thrown off the team and will have to pay for school because some other kids were able to make the grades to get in. Did Miles tell him there was a chance that this would happen during his recruitment?
Kid can go to USC, The Trojans have scholarships

signing with the trojans these days
is the equivalent of gray-shirting.
Truth is, it's not all Les, a lot of people do it and someone was gonna get caught up in it.
isn't it part of saban's job description to continually oversign? it's a shitty thing to do regardless, but continually doing so allows teams stretch their evaluations of recruits well past the signing period. my team's stuck with the recruits it signed, while bama's still holding tryouts.

Yeah, cause a USC education, paid for, is the equivalent of paying for an LSU education and maybe getting a scholarship later. Even a disgraced and wounded USC squad would beat Meatchicken by 40 points in any stadium in the nation.

The Trojans can not have more than 15 players sign in February of 2011, 2012 and 2013, until the appeals and lawsuits are heard. Early enrollees or transfers wont count aginst those 15, there is no reason why the Trojans can not loophole the shit out of unjust and unprecidented sanctions handed down by a biased and agenda driven rules comittee

You need to cheat off some smarter fans. Early enrollees count against the previous class. So if you don't sign 15 this year and only sign 12, you can sign 18 next year. There's nothing to loop hole.

then as they only signed 17 in 2010, they can get 8 EE's and not have them count against the 15 in 2011.

You can sign 23 kids this year with those 8 early enrollee's. Again, nothing to loop hole. And I'm sure you don't see the irony of you saying USC should work the system and look for a loophole when you're talking about NCAA sanctions.

Aren't all scholarships 1 year renewable anyway? So if a coach wants to get rid of a kid then good bye....shit coaches leave all the time, kids leave early all the time so if you aren't good enough then have a nice day......
You're right Schmickey...everyone is just jealous of $C. they actually deserved nothing........
