Where do the Californians on this board stand on Prop 19?

Just curious. How libertarian are you?

:meds:

It's not really a big issue here. But since you asked, I don't really care. It's not going to pass.
It doesn't affect me or my family one way or another. Who cares. When I go to vote, I will mark against. This is the most time I will spend on the issue.

Most recent polling shows it holding steady at 50-40 in favor with 10 undecided. It stands an excellent chance of passing.

If you don't care and it doesn't affect you or your family, why vote no?

I love how she will spend no time on the issue, but knows to vote no to it.

Seriously, why fucking vote then?

I will vote no because I am personally against drugs. If I am voting anyway, I might as well vote on it.

Yeah like California could not use 1.5 Billion in revenue that is expected from that bill passing. With the state of the economy in CA the way it is how can you afford to vote NO?

Even if it passes though I smell the FEDS stepping in to shut it down. No way they will let that go forward without figuring out first how to get their slice of the pie.....

Personally against pot, so vote to keep it illegal.

Good thing conservatives are against the "nanny state".

It's never been any problem to get pot if someone wants it here in California, it always been a free market system and the cops don't really give a shit about anyone carrying small amounts, the real money is in DUI's and such. Why anyone would want to pay tax for something that they dont have to pay for now is the real question. In a state as large as California one could imagine the system to regulate the taxation within the Franchise Tax Board would carry a hefty price tag after the SEIU sets salary and pension benefits for all the new employees needed for such a task. What the state doesn't need is a shitload more Government Employees on the payroll.
I''ll vote NO.

Drugs and alcohol are basically bad for society. Sometimes I lean a little left, sometimes I lean a little right. Got a problem with that, Mikey?

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Ten years ago I would have voted no because of what it did to a couple of hs buddies. Now? The shit is so pervasive that it might as well be legalized.

At the very least, we can save a shitload of scratch by decriminalizing simple possession.

So im voting yes. Cops need to spend less time hassling stoners and more time profiling illegals. :D

I'll tell ya what's bad for society.

The gubmint playing mom and deciding which substances we may/may not put into our own body and artificially creating a huge organized crime industry in the process. Didn't we learn a fukking thing from prohibition?

I've seen what alcohol can do to a person as well as weed. It's not even worth argueing. Alcohol is potentially much worse for those prone to addiction, IMO.

I say legalize every last fukking substance. Want to take alcohol, weed, heroin, crank, nyquil? Be my guest. The herd needs thining anyhoo.

Legalize and tax every last bit of it. Probably put cali in the black in 6 months.

Already voted yes. I hear it's pretty far behind in the polls, though.
