I'm kinda torn on this one but despite this man's constitutional right to burn the Koran/Quran, I don't think the statement is worth endangering American lives here, abroad, and certainly in a war. You fan the flames and these cockroaches are going to bull-rush.

These ingrate fucks went apeshit over a cartoon depicting Mohummad or whatever his name is in a cartoon in a Danish paper. This is one old man tapping the side of a beehive with a stick. I say Chuck D might be at work here because according to the old pastor he has received over a hundred death threats already and is packing heat wherever he goes.

I'm sure the Lord is gonna protect him from the "evil-doers" but apparantly He won't protect him from this administration...he's already on the brink of an IRS audit and is being chastised by everyone from the Attorney General to the military brass. If the muzzies don't get him first, I think his brakes might malfunction soon and he ends up in a ravine somewhere.

Holder also told the group no one should have to live and pray in fear and
that he planned to address the issue publicly soon, the meeting participants
said. He also reiterated a commitment to aggressively prosecute hate crimes,
they said.

:meds:

EVERY violent crime is a hate crime, you pitifully ridiculous buffoon.

There is nothing to be torn about, H4, and the gov sure as shit has NO reason to be involved in it in any way.

This is a small nothing pastor of a small nothing church who is behaving like a total fool - and doing nothing illegal.

Sure, burn your books, little dipshit.

Bravo!

I agree that it is pathetic of the gubmint thrusting themselves into the heart of something that, though foolish, is protected by the constitution. The same troops this little man endangers are sworn to protect him and the constitution. Problem is Gov involvement is blowing the issue up and not helping the situation. How long for the fuggin ACLU gets involved? Not very and the flames will be fanned even more and when the SCOTUS eventually rules that Rev. Cooter can burn Korans all the live long, muthafucking day. THAT will set off the whole muzzie-fundy world. Fucked up shit.

Why don't they just let the 'tard burn a few books, print off 10,000 more and hand them out in Afghanistan? Probably makes too much sense for the powers at be.

Some have the right to build mosques near terror sites.

It's a great country.

Burn that thing. Who gives a shit? Burn a bible too. Or the constitution, the Magna Carta and To Kill A Mockingbird. It's just a meaningless act. The ideas still exist. And if Muslims get thier panties in a twist about it, screw them. It's just some printed words on a page, out of MILLIONS in print. And H4, the ACLU should be on the side of of the guy burning that fucker, not the other way around.

Of course this pastor has the right to burn the Koran...just as he has a right to leave no doubt as to his stupidity. Burning the Koran will send a message of hate to all Muslims, not just the radical Muslims, and will serve no useful purpose. This guy is a whack job who will bring wack job Muslims out of the walls with the pastor as their target. Hopefully he takes a few of them out with the glock he has on his desk before they kill him. And, yes, Darwin is clearly at work here.

So why give the enemy some bulletin board material that will further endanger our troops....or us here at home?

Mace, the idiotic fiddlings of a nothing pastor are baby shit compared to a foreign policy which is REALLY putting our troops in danger.

It's the old "Don't pay attention to the brick that's repeatedly slammin' you in the face, idiot, but look over here at the big dangerous pebble that might wreak havoc on you if you don't watch out."

I give Petraeus credit for being able to bamboozle the mouth-breather crowd.

The useful purpose served will be to put the lie to all this nonsense about "peaceful" Muslims. We are dealing with violent savages. It's about time we face that fact. This exercise is an excellent opportunity to evaluate whether or not Islam is compatible with modern civilization.

Christians didn't much like it when some fag dunked a cross in a jar of piss, but there was no violence or threats of violence. Jews really don't care for Holocaust deniers, but they aren't running around threatening them with death.

It's time for Muslims to fucking grow up and join the rest of us in the 21st century and it's time for handwringers like you to stop making excuses for these assholes.

Right...because if it weren't for Rev. Jones burning a few Korans, al Qaeda would just be sitting around in quiet theological discussion and meditation.

Is that what you're trying to say here? Or is this just your usual MO of "see dick, suck dick"?

About the same percentage of Christianity that these Church of the Holy Pidgeon lunatics represent.

I think we should put them all in a locked cage together with a pile of various configurations of sticks with sharp metal things on the end, and let them have it out.

Screw_Michigan wrote:al Qaeda is about 0.0000005% of Islam. Go jump on another dick you handwringing pantload.
And what percentage of Muslim shitstains does this tard represent?
"It is the duty of Muslims to react," said Mohammad Mukhtar, a cleric and candidate for the Afghan parliament in the Sept. 18 election. "When their holy book Quran gets burned in public, then there is nothing left. If this happens, I think the first and most important reaction will be that wherever Americans are seen, they will be killed. No matter where they will be in the world they will be killed."
20%? 30% Do you even know? You think maybe it might be a good idea to find out? Defining the scope of a problem is pretty critical in formulating an intelligent and successful response to it.

You can stop pretending that "radical" Islam is only an insignificant fraction of Islam. If that were actually true, this war would have been over years ago. No, the truly "radical Muslims" are those tiny few who are sincerely peaceful and tolerant and I'm not even sure they exist.

Wakey, wakey.

6pm-9pm? Three fucking hours?

2:45 of that will probably be used up figuring out how to work the matches. Another 10 minutes will be lost tending to burns suffered while marvelling at the burning book of matches.

They'll never actually get around to burning the koran because they'll be trying to gather up all their sacred rattlesnakes that excaped while everybody was mesmerized by the fire.

Oh, I'm sure they can burn the hell out of a pile of books. They're pretty good at setting things on fire you know...witches and such.

Book burnings have become a tiresome cliche, though. It's been done and now everybody just sort of goes through the motion of phony outrage as they torch heaps of Harry Potter books.

If it was my church, I would have gone with "Wipe a Pig's Ass with the Koran Day" instead. Make it a fun, community event for the whole family. The Hog Wipe to be followed by a picnic lunch and raffle.

Enjoy your rancid goat meat, you camel fingering diaperheads.

^^^^sweet mother of all that is good and pure..."Wipe a Pig's Ass with the Koran Day" ... just...beautiful. Rack !

And I do believe it would be any American's constitutional right to declare it and then pull it off in front of God, Allah, and any member of the media including ALjaqueera or whatever who wanted to show up and document it.

Still torn and it sucks that more people will die because of it but maybe it needs to be done. It might be right that they will find something to continue their twisted crusade against Americans and Christianity in general.

Screw it just call them fuckers out in anyway we can think of just to start whacking them one by one. Let's burn Korans in the middle of every Middle Eastern city and execute any "lalalallallaing" raghead who runs out with a machete or AK-47. Let's send them to "heaven" with a piece of bacon stuffed in their mouth and the back of their domes missing thanks to a .223 round.

Perhaps the pastor can organize an evening where concerned and patriotic citizens can take to the street and smash the windows of Muslim shops. Maybe call it "Evening Of Glass Shattering", or something to the effect.

Absolutely nothing bad can come of this.

Like Fort Hood, TX?

I wonder, is there a verse in the Koran about turning the other cheek? Probably is, being as how it is the religion of 'peace'. Or so I've heard.

As a nominal, backsliding Christian and recovering Catholic, if I saw some Iman burning a Bible on TV, I'd laugh and say whatever dude... you probably got the paperback NIV, dumbfuck.

But if certain enraged, sociopathic Muslims are going to use some publicity seeking pastors' stunt as further reason (like they needed any) to plot violence and mayhem against Americans, then lets burn a Koran on every street in the country. They'll be easier to spot that way. We can make it a weekly event until such time as we either run out of Korans' or psychotic Muzlims.
