I am covering a number of games this season and thought I would document them here in photos. Not all games will I have a photo pass so I might not get sideline shots of every game. Last week I covered the TCU vs Oregon State game.

Photo pass and Media Parking
Image

Open northeast end of Cowboys Stadium. Huge hanger size glass doors open
Image

View of endzone suites from field. Suite is behind these movie theater style seats.
Image

Field level suites. Can't see a damn thing 80% of the time. Notice field level is about waist high on the peeps.
Image

Jumbotron? Camera just can't do it justice.
Image

Kids from PDX that came down for the game.
Image

Best brother duo in college football today.
Image

Horrible TCU pants. This was also repeated on the helmet.
Image

Dalton ready to pass. He didn't impress me much for a Heisman contender. Future teams should take away the run and make him throw.
Image

TCU Goal to go.
Image

Some fat guy last Oct before he lost 54 lbs with Sr.
Image

Future games this season include FSU vs Wake, Texas vs Neb, Rice vs SMU, Rice vs Cougar High, Texas vs Iowa State and Texas State vs SFA. I hope to add an SEC game and a Big televen12.

Great idea, thanks for sharing!

54lbs? Holy sheet - nice work!

BTW, Lefty - Brett Brackett is now a 5th year senior WR/TE. He had 3 catches all of last year...last week he had 8. If you watch the PSU/Tide game tonight, you'll see him for sure.

I will be watching that game for sure. Besides it being a great game I need some normalcy in uniforms to offset the horrible uniforms that were on display on Monday night. Outside of Oregon those were some of the worst ever. In fact they made the unis in Any Given Sunday look classic.

I plan to do a story for the Lawerenceville Ledger on the former QB turned reciever. Good kid, nice family, much better reciever than QB.

I also plan to do a story for a national rag prior to the Neb Texas game Titled something along "Hey Tom don't blame Texas for..." It will chronicle all the things that went wrong for Neb that Texas had nothing to do with, like horrible coaching hires, a decade late to the forward pass focused offense, etc. Of course I will sprinkle in plenty of things that they can blame Texas for like 37-27, 1-8 vs Texas, 20-16 at NU ends a 47 game home winning streak, etc.

Yeah, 54 is the net. I lost 57 but have stablized the last 90 days at 54 which at 212 I am happy with.

Those are the moments that make sports reporting special. Nice photo with Sr Bush.

So, the most important question...how was the press spread at Jerry World? Good grub?

Spread was very good. Worked out of the photo work room so I could have sideline creds for this one. Fajitas with all the fixings before the game. Hotdogs and brats with chili, kruat, and beans. Post game was cookies and icecream.

Media parking was also great, right outside the entrance. Cowboy lots were $40, other lots were $30, and you could valet park under the stadium for $300.00.
