Far be it from me to defend the Cowboys. But Michael Wilbon is not only a first class asshat, he also a Washington Post sports columnist. Very shocking that he would pile on the Cowboys.

He is also a Bears fan.

No, because he works for a newspaper in the home market of their biggest rival. I know I sure as hell haven't been over rating the Cowboys. Not as long as Jerrah Jones insists on having spineless yes men coaching his team.

Nobody is questioning whether you have been overating the Cowboys, its the media that Wilbon is questioning. Exactly what part of what he said don't you agree with Brian?

I think he hit the nail on the head with the exception that he could have added the Jets into the mix.

That must be why, when I did a word search of the article, the word MEDIA never showed up. Get your head out of your ass Joe, Wilbon is talking about people in general, not just the media.

How about the part where Wilbon treats public opinion as if it is some kind of unified monolithic entity when in fact opinions even amongst the media class you seem to think Wilbon is directing this article at vary greatly.
