Keenum's collegiate career over with torn ACL, and his backup, Cotton Turner out for year with fractured clavicle....
I guess the only spark of hope is that the freshman Broadway looked good under that pressure.

I'd be lying if I told you that I'm not devastated by this. It's fucking horrible, horrible news for what was supposed to be a special season.
Now the Coogs are relegated to baptism by fire with their 4-star true frosh Terrance Broadway. He' gonna have to learn that offense in a hurry. Not only that, but Kingsbury will be forced to change the offense a bit mid-season. Broadway is a legit dual threat, but the Coogs pass offense if all on timing and that is only learned by repetition and experience. Sumlin and that offense will have to retool themselves to a run first offense. They're capable of doing it, but a C-USA championship is not likely with a true frosh at QB.
The defense was somewhat impressive last night by not letting the game get completely out of control and Broadway through a helluva pass to Cleveland for a TD late in the 4th. I'll take wahtever positives I can out of last night, but this is just a sickening feeling to my stomach.
