49ers vs. Chiefs

Samurai Mike is bringing his 49ers to town on Sunday, and from what I've seen of them they are a VERY physical bunch that has playmaking studs on both sides of the ball. Vernon Davis might be the best TE in the game today, and he all but GUARANTEED a 49ers victory in this game this week. On defense Patrick Willis is a fucking beast and is almost ALWAYS around the football, making the sure tackle.
However....they are coming into a new and reenergized Arrowhead Stadium, where the home crowd has once again brought our A-game as the 12th man (just ask Philip Rivers!) and that young 49ers squad will have problems dealing with the noise. Let's just call it:
Chiefs - 20
49ers - 16

If I keep picking against the Chiefs every week, I'm bound to come out ahead.
49ers 21
Chiefs 12

I think the '9ers are a pretty decent team.
I think KC isn't.
Grief fan will bemoan the pitiful state of his team's offense in here after this one is over.
49ers - 24
Griefs - 10

Chiefs are in big trouble if the Niners D plays halfway decent. We were #6 against the run last year and early indications are we'll probably finish right around there again. Our big weakness on defense is on double-moves and if our safeties get too eager to play the run and get torched deep. Since KC's passing attack is somewhere between abysmal and average, and with everything on KC's offense being predicated on establishing the run, I can't see them scoring more than 10 points on offense.
The Niners offensive line absolutely MANHANDLED the Saints defensive line in the run game and NO's line are hardly slouches. Up front KC is playing better this year, but I think our O-line took a big step forward last week and are looking to build on that.
Niners give up a bomb for a TD, a special teams TD to McCluster and other than that absolutely destroy Charles and Cassel.
Gore will have about 25 carries for just short of 100 yards and Smith will eat up the Chiefs D with play action.
49ers - 24
KC - 17

True, but you can't overlook the tard factor of the Niners' coaching staff. They
should blow the Queefs out easily, but they'll probably step all over their dicks again.
Hopefully we'll be treated to a volcanic, Mora-esqe meltdown in the next few weeks.

You certainly don't have to worry about any sort of passionate meltdown from your milquetoast coach who has made an annual tradition of finishing off the season with a loss and an "oh well" shrug.

Maybe one day your shit team will be lucky enough to have a coach who can get the team to the playoffs. You might want to grab a Snickers bar while you wait, though.
Pussy.

Actually, I've already put my money down. In the college football forum. Did you want to place a bet on the Queefs's game this weekend? $25 says the 49ers beat the spread. You ready, Nancy?

That was opening Monday night football on primetime television. It's different than a 1pm game that is being shown in a few regions.
Niners roll.

Yeah, it has been Snickers Time since the last Super Bowl appearance.
Been so long in fact, I was kinda hoping Chargertard could remind me what happened the last time the Niners went to the SB?

"Maybe one day" you Charger fans will stop enabling your team's staggering ability to fail, by finding zero satsifaction in just making the playoffs.

2002. Made the playoffs and won the wildcard game.
It sucks to be sure, but every team has shit periods. Hell, the Buccaneers and Saints have both been horrible virtually their entire team history...yet both have one more ring than the Chargers.

You have to go back to the 1970s LA Rams squads to find a more obvious example of repeated early playoff exits by a team that should have, on paper, done much better. Of course both teams are from SoCal.

Glad to see your old lady finally took your balls out of her purse and let you hold them for a minute. I'll make the same bet I offered Mace. $25 that goes to a local charity/food pantry. Despite all of the shit we sling, I do trust you to do this on the honor system. I would not offer the same type of wager to BSmack.

As was the flea flicker TD to Bowe and then the absolutely incredible one handed catch Moeaki made in the back of the endzone.
Are you fucking kidding me?
This team has got some playmakers and the defense is dominating. It's a beautiful thing watching Arrowhead go apeshit while they destroy the 49ers.

BRB. I'm driving to 49ers headquarters to curl off a fat deuce on Jimmy Raye's desk.
edit...not to take anything away from the Chiefs' D or Romeo Crennel's game plan. Both were outstanding.

You don't win three weeks in a row in the NFL if you're not doing a lot of things right as a football team.
KC's got a couple of legs up in the West and there is no doubt now that you have to take them very seriously.
It is what it is.

We'll see in 2 weeks after the bye. At Indy.
Before that performance today, I wouldn't have given them any chance whatsoever. But with two weeks to rest and prepare, who knows?
One thing I do know is that the 2-headed monster of a RB tandem is going to give defenses fits all year long. During one drive today in the 2nd half, Charles ripped off a 27 yarder immediately followed by Jones for 20. Almost 200 yards combined rushing against a supposedly stout 49er run D does not suck.
I was getting pissed early in the game when Cassel would drop back to pass and bad things happened, when it was obvious they could run the ball at will.

Never like to see the Queefs get a leg up in the division, but it sure was nice to listen to local radio hacks melt HARD over the Niners performance. It made that boring ride home from Los Osos bearable.
The funniest thing I heard was multiple times people saying how the Niners keep playing to the level of their competition. WHAT? One team is 0-3 and got puched in the cunt by a 3-0 team. How the fuck is that playing to the level of their competition? Granted, it's a slap in the face to the Chiefs and that meatgrinder known as the AFC West as a whole, but 31-10 isn't anything close to playing to their level.
Dolt fans get a lot of shit around here, but Niner fans tend to take the cake when it comes to clueless optimism. All anyone talked about out here is how deep the Niners can go in the playoffs. Never mind that national predictions of the playoffs were based on how much of a vast shithole the NFC West is. Also never mind that their out of division record was utter crap and it was even harder this year. Couple that with two rookies starting on an O-Line that is supposed to deliver that "smashmouth" offense that Singletary wanted and Mushmouth failed to deliver. It was a predictable disaster and for some reason Niner fans can't see the forrest from the cock in their face.
I guess all that talk about Alex Smith and the "game of his life" against New Orleans can cease. Stupid fucking fans can't figure out that if 270 yards, one TD and two picks is the defining moment in someone's six year carrer, it ain't gonna happen.
Welcome to Raider territory asshats.
4-12

Are you really this stupid? The Niners two shitty performances have been against teams that won four and five games(Queefs and Seahags, respectively) last season and the game where both their defense and offense played solidlys came against last year's Superbowl champs. And this issue is a carryover from last year that'd be obvious to anyone who isn't meth-cooking Sacramento trailer trash.
From 2009:
@Minnesota (L) 27-24
@Indianapolis (L) 18-14
@Green Bay (L) 30-24
Following the Green Bay game, they struggled against 7-9 Jacksonville, lost to 5-11 Seattle and turned in a lackluster performance against the Rams.
In other words,
they play to the level of their competition.
Dolt fans get a lot of shit around here, but Niner fans tend to take the cake when it comes to clueless optimism.
From
Raiderfan? Your team is so infamous for its clueless optimism that the term "Raider myopia" was coined. This is like Buccaneer fan making fun of another team's history of losing.
Besides, the optimism was based on those close games against strong opposition last year, coupled with three consecutive years where they won more games than the year before.

I had intended to send a $25 money order to the charity of your choice. I can do a local one here in Madison, or I'd send it to a KC food pantry. Like these guys:
The Community Food Network
3801 Topping Ave.
Kansas City, MO 64129.
http://www.harvesters.org/GiveMoney/Index.asp?x=030|010&~=
According to the website, $25 can provide 125 meals, enough to feed KFC Paul for a week. But it's your call, Wags.
BTW, based on my history picking NFL games this season, I will be picking the
Chiefs to win every week from here on out in a sincere effort to get them to 13 losses.
