Great takes Scott. :bode:

I think you can add that the re-emergence of Atlanta, Chicago, and a tough GB team means the playoffs are unlikely for the WRless Vikings. Nobody's saying it (Media wise) but there has to be some major concerns.

Green Bay's inability to run, along with the use of the spread offense is going to = 1-3 turnovers a game. That will knock them down a notch, unless they can find someone to tote the rock.

The Chiefs need better play out of their QB, or those pesky road games will bring them back to the pack.

The Dolphins were out coached. I thought Miami made a mistake not running every now & then out of their base formation to keep the Jets D honest. When Ricky Williams was in the Dolphins ran. When Ronnie Brown was in they passed. Too predictable vs a top defense. Also Miami should have dumped the Wildcat after a couple of plays, it was easy to see the Jets knew how to defense it. Easy that is unless you're Dan Henning. :meds:

Top 5
1. Pittsburgh - most impressive team to date
2. Indianapolis - Manning keeps ticking along
3. Atlanta - very solid win v. the defending champs
4. Green Bay - close road loss - still a very potent team
5. NY Jets - solid defense, a couple of nice wins

Bottom 5
28. Detroit - has played a tough schedule
29. Oakland - better passing game, running game, defense - but still kicking their own @ss
30. Carolina - no offense to speak of
31. San Francisco - coaching clusterfuck
32. Buffalo - near the very bottom in both offense and defense

With all due disrespect towards your rankings, Scott, which are apparently weighed too far in favor of their curent record after all of 3 games...

Top 5

Colts
Steelers
Saints
Packers
Jets

Chicago, are you kidding me?

Chiefs, what are you smoking?

I rank GB higher than Chicago because I think they are the better team.
Bears won at home by 3 pts.
It's noted.

GB outgained them by 100 yds.
GB is 2nd in the league in defense and we know they can do a lot on offense.

3 games is a pretty small sample to look at in order to accurately rank teams.
It's fun and sort of silly to do right now.
The kind of shit we do as fans.

And why football stud gurus like PISC laff at us and sling derogatory diatribes in our direction.
