Stanford 42
Oregon 35

Stanford runs up 200 ground yards and 250 in the air. Holds Oregon down just enough to pull out the win.

Oregon 31
Stanford 27

Rooting for Stanford though. Love the pro style teams.

I meant to say 200+ on the ground and 250+ in the air.

My remote will be getting a workout between this and Alabama Florida.

Oregon 3 pts. Feels almost like a victory for the defense.

Nice drive. Great catch. I thought that was going to be an int.

Dins, you still think Stanford will be lucky to put up more than 14 next week?

Maybe in the first quarter.

Oregon is getting exposed as a high flying gimmick. Props to Stanford on the balance.

He shouldn't have to wait long. Maybe late 1st half.

Ever seen a game with NO PUNTS by either team?

At least it's turned into a game now - comPLETELY unlike the 'Bama game. As much as it pains me - nobody is on 'Bama's level.
I think you're right. Just looking at the players...they look like men playing against boys.

TWO time outs to "freeze" the kicker? That's fucking assinine.

Damn. Oregon has really turned this around. Stanford defense looks helpless and the offense has pretty much stalled.

Shit. That interception was a terrible pass by Luck. That and the fumble last time down on the 1 yard line were killer. Luck has shown two major weaknesses today that were also apparent last week. First, a tendency to throw the ball up for grabs. Second, he's weak on anything over 20 or 25 yards.

Oregon offense is amazing. Thomas is so dangerous and James is just refuses to go down.

Way too much ghetto bullshit though. Sour grapes aside, I will never like this team.

Oops, can't count out the Ducks with that offense. Just freakish.

Sorry, Furd, but Oregon has this quality known as "depth."

When you have that "depth" thing, you can keep rotating fresh bodies into the game, and it tends to wear down less deep teams...

which tends to lead to things like 49-10 asskickings, such as Oregon handed out after taking Furd's best kick to the groin.

Right now Alabama-Oregon would have the appearance of a fairly decent title game.

I'm biased, so my opinion isn't exactly word, but Oregon and Bama sure seem to be head and shoulders above the rest.

Weren't we hearing that last season before the Rose Bowl too? It's surprising what a good defense can do to a freakish offense. That said, I'd like to see an Oregon-Bama matchup in the title game.
